"my first experience of thai food. our friends went to chaophraya in edinburgh and loved it. Although chaophraya is a chain, it seems that everyone is something different. this special place had a beautiful ambiente and decor to put a chilled mood. we were received to sit up. a beautiful spacious opposite. a very wide menu, very well organized, but so hard to know what to choose with the many options. the only place where I have ever frangelico on the drink card! a definitive winner! a “must taste” drink! my eating option was very good and the additional egg frying was also not disappointed. Unfortunately my wife wasn't too sharp. the service is also friendly. they are observing and thoughtful support, where possible, very good. Although it seems to be a lot of waiters/waxes standing around you and eating you, which makes it easy to unpleasant. the toilet areas are clean and regularly controlled, keeping a clean standard. parking is also plentiful. there are many places to park, to walk from the restaurant. Thai food would not be my personal first option, but if they are in Thai food, then this might be the place for them. as a Google reviewer in the top 10% of the reviewers for the restaurants we were also granted a 15% discount, which was very friendly. many thanks to all employees in chaophraya."

my first time in chaophraya and I would definitely return. it seemed to be doing for a Monday. the food was delicious, all my party loved her meals. I thought the portions were good, I should have taken some home. three of us shared a Sharing plate that had enough to walk around and so a great variety.

Went here for lunch, and the food was lovely and flavoursome. We were seated outside quite quickly. I had the alcohol free cocktails and they were AMAZING ! the reason for me giving this place 5 stars is due to the service I received from my waiter. Everything was great and will defo be going back here . Great location aswell !

Food was amazing, we shared one of the set menus, was all served hot and fresh. Portion sizes are generous also. Had a ring of fire cocktail which was also really good. Only negative was we requested the leftover food be boxed to go but instead they threw it away. They did apologise and gave us some money back. Will defo be returning in the future. View menu

I first visited around my birthday as the second choice option… it should have been the first. It was so good I returned another 2 times in 3 weeks. The food is out of this world, the service is lovely and the atmosphere is super nice. I cannot wait to come back. One of my favourite restaurants. The beef to start… the pork noodles for main and then their lovely fruit fondue for dessert!

great Thai restaurant in the city center of birmingham. great view of the cathedrale from inside in the restaurant and a beautiful atmosphere. very relaxing inside. personal, where very busy, but did best for us. we waited about 15 minutes before we were asked what we would drink. eating was great, but the Sharing Star Plate for £22 was very small to me. the net, where perfect proportions of sizes and the pineapple was fantastic. the huh of my partner was quite bland and tasteless, but overall eating was of great quality and delicious. the reason for the 4 star rating is mainly at the cost. almost £80 for what we hand seems somewhat overpriced compared to other similar restaurants we were al...
