"The Golden Dragon offers several marvellous vegan tofu options, which the kitchen will prepare with great care for vegans. Such as vegetable Mapo tofu, or deep fried tofu in sweet and sour sauce, or even mixed vegetable Singapore Vermicelli, made with no egg and with tofu added. Another favourite is mixed veg in Szechuan style made with tofu. It's great to have such variety. The quality of all these dishes is exceptionally high, making them good value, I believe. The staff are delightfully friendly, helpful and professional, and the food is almost always ready bang on time. I would highly recommend the Golden Dragon for these marvellous delicious nutritious vegan meals."

"Delicious food with a smile. Great place, been there several times already with our family and each time left happy, our son loves those boiled beef and carrot dumplings, potstickers are brilliant, especially dipped in mixed soy and crushed chili sauces, tried couple of soups and the spicy beef soup is a little to hot for me, red roast ribs noodle soup is awesome though, of the special dishes Ma Po Tofu and minced pork served with rice does me the best, oh and those char-sui or beef and carrot buns are definitely worth trying when you are waiting for the main, remember to try it with the soy sauce, char-sui is a tad on a sweet side but for my taste goes awesome with the soy sauce and...read more"

"In Chinatown with literally dozens of restaurants, how do you chose one? My decision was to look for one with roasted ducks hanging in the window. Canton may not have the best food in Chinatown, but it sure worked for a quick lunch. Our waiter informed us there were two types of duck on the menu: a crispy duck served with hoisin sauce and pancakes: and the simple chopped roasted duck in the window/ Our 1/4 duck roast duck was a delicious choice. My sweetheart ordered a nostalgic choice of 'shrimp toast ' that she hadn 't seen on a menu for years. It was a blast from the past in a restaurant that has been here since 1955. Our 'fried rice ' was bland and tasteless but worked well to absorb the sauce from the duck. A plate of 'fried chicken with vegetables ' turned out to be a stir fried dish in a brown sauce. Not bad, but unexciting. Canton hit the right buttons for a quick lunch in London 's Chinatown for us."
