"The pros: We were there for dim sum/lunch. The food is excellent, clean, fresh. The char siu baos were meh. We loved the spicy jellyfish, salted egg yolk okra, crepes, custard bao, Singapore rice noodle. Everything else was great. We came right as they opened and they were able to accommodate us even though we were 20 min early. The cons: The hospitality/service is a little lacking for a Michelin star restaurant. I inquired about having a baby join and the person managing reservations answered that they didn’t recommend children under 5. I asked if we should not come then if children weren’t welcome. (I wasn’t being facetious, I was earnest. Then they changed their tune to say all were welcome. The staff needed to warm up a bit also when we asked if they had a recommendation on how many dim sum or dishes they would generally recommended. Most restaurants give you a starting point. It’s good but the service takes it from being 1 star to .5 star erring on bib gourmand."

"Our experience was lovely! Our waiter Marcel was very kind and answered any questions we had. We were cautious about our spending as even though this was a special occasion as we're students but the prices weren't as bad as we were expecting. Our two mains cost £15 20 each which we shared and we also purchased a starter for £10. We weren't too fussed about purchasing drinks or dessert. We were lucky to get a table seat and a complimentary birthday dessert! The food was good but not the best we had eaten (but the vegetable rice was incredible) was mainly there for the beautiful view. The overall restaurant is very pretty and was dimly lit for ambiance. Only downside was we were sat next to a very large group who were very loud I wish the bigger tables for many guests were more sectioned off? The other side of the restaurant was very quiet but we didn't want to risk losing a table view. In short, it's an amazing experience but I wouldn't come here very often, only for special occasions. Also, we asked to get the service charge off and they kindly agreed."

"Went as a group of 6 for a friends birthday and had The Best time. Huge range of food and all of it was absolutely delicious satay sauce...such a small point but! it was superb! all arrived piping hot and super tasty. We moved on to Beer Pong, the manager arranged for us to go on as a group hadn't turned up and we didn't know you had to book. Very kind helpful man! Was BRILLIANT fun special mention to Henry who looked after us in the best possible way a Happy Birthday pud for our friend some shots (which were surprisingly LOVELY! at the horseshoe table. Made sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommend this place for an all round top evening. "

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, enjoying the delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. The staff was attentive and courteous, creating a fantastic oriental atmosphere. While the prices were on the higher side, the exceptional quality of the food and service made it more than worth it. Eating here reminded me of Hong Kong and I will definitely be returning in the future."

"Disappointing I asked for a table away from the draughty door and we were seated at a table which they then moved us from because they wanted it for a party of 4 instead of three. We were put back at the smaller table. Whilst we were waiting for our 3rd member of our party, three attempts were made to remove our third place setting in the space of 5 mins. We ordered a mixture of 6 dim dum and 4 mains and it was amusing that the serving team looked panicked about how to fit all the dishes on one cramped table they made us sit at. This amusement turned to more annoyance when they started hovering around our table more to try and clear off dishes apparently for our convenience so it was not a relaxing Sunday family meet up. The mixed meat noodles dish was TOO salty for us all and scallop dumpling was nice but the rest of the dim sum and mixed roasted meats were below standard of Chinatown, Wing Tai, Colindale’s JM and other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Won’t be going back."

"Great food however please be aware there is more than one food menu and they may not offer both to you. I ordered from the more limited menu but saw others people getting sushi which was not on my menu. When I enquired how they were ordering sushi I was then told about menu 2. I wanted to change my order but unfortunately it had already gone to the kitchen and couldn’t be changed. This was incredibly disappointing and ruined our dining experience as first time visitors. It seems if your not a regular you may end up missing out. Restaurant occupancy was about 30 but despite this it felt as if were being rushed out which also made us feel a bit unwelcome. I would probably give oita one more try and hopefully next time is better"

"Amazing food and excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions due to the high quality of ingredients, skilled cooking, and beautiful presentation. The dim sum and soft shell crab starter were fantastic, and the Peking duck, which must be pre-ordered, was fresh and expertly sliced at our table. The turbot, fillet steak, and prawn main courses were all outstanding. This restaurant is definitely deserving of a visit from a Michelin inspector. Aya Court stands out as the top oriental and Chinese restaurant within a 20-mile radius of Ascot."

"beautiful new restaurant, decor fresh and clean. warm welcomes, despite the fact that I had booked a table for 2 in mistakes instead of 4, but no excitement was made. noticed that they have other people away who have no bookings so that this place has become very fast popular, it probably has only 30 covers? so it seems essential to book. eating was super, it was expensive, but everything was super tasty, nothing greasy or unpleasant-their website claim no msg used in their kitchen and I certainly did not feel uncomfortable and thirsty after this meal as I did with other Chinese restaurants. the waitresses were very friendly and shared a sweat when we asked about the coffee after the meal, which they did not serve, but they spoke him into a pot of Chinese tees to support his digestion. a beautiful note was a free plate of freshly cut fruits after the meal, everything was quickly deleted and we felt not rushed. we will definitely return."

"A friendly welcome, prompt service and excellent, food, had dimsum and squid for appetizers plus Calamari, superb except the Calamari, which was a little hard and dry, the dim-sum was of the highest standard. Mainly there were garlic PacChoi, sweets and sour pork, and seafood in black bean sauce, all super, no desserts offered, would have been happy with candychee! Ambience could be better, the restaurant was a bit cold and the lighting too hard, comfortable chairs and tables, all in all a very nice meal, we will be back!"

"Absolutely loved this quiet little tea house just around the corner from the Minister just up from the main shops; an ideal location. Most options were vegan on the mains menu, nearly all drinks could be made vegan most of the cakes on the daily cakes board were also vegan...so many options it was hard to choose! I got the tofu teriyaki mayo donburi bowl (with miso soup of course which was super tasty a really good size portion, then I couldn't resist a vegan matcha blondie, which was yummy, although I think you'd have to be a bit of a matcha addict like me to appreciate it. Will definitely be going again. ~Edit (04/02/22 Was super excited to hear they were doing a Veganuary 3 course set menu it did not disappoint! For a very fair £20, we had the most delicious traditional Japanese food unlike anything else I've ever tasted. For mains I had the Umami spaghetti; was better than any Italian pasta I've ever had! And for dessert the matcha zenzai, which was so bizarre to me, but really nice (though as in my previous review, I'm just a teeny bit biased towards matcha things Would definitely recommend actually they're running the Veganuary menu into March so still plenty of time to try it! "excellent service, very tasty eating at a reasonable price. the personal is friendly and they give them warm welcome when they are in. special dishes can be made on request to their taste. I love the special chili source that is unique and made by itself with a secret recipe. the best Chinese food I've ever tried. surely they will visit the restaurant again."

"very satisfied with our first visit in imperial garden restaurant. the food was really delicious and the service super. also the decor loved it, but with a little more heating it could have done. we were disappointed by a court, the marinated lamb we found very spicy, despite no chili pepper on the menu to show how sharp it was. the personal was very understanding and accommodating, and we will definitely come back. I love lemon chicken!"

"View is lovely if you get a window seat otherwise it’s like any other restaurant. The food, well…. We were served our starter and mains together! Why???? We asked for the mains to be taken back until we’d eaten our starter which to be fair...was lovely. Unfortunately despite the plate radiating heat the food on it was was not. It was sent back and the second plate was exactly the same, I ate it as I was hungry. I was told this is how it was supposed to be.It tasted OK but would have tasted so much nicer if it’d been warm.cold broccoli is not great. My partners food was hot and he enjoyed it.But that was it, it was ‘nice’ not wow or fab just nice. Very disappointed as we’d really been looking forward to it. We were also told there was a max 2 hour at the table so felt under pressure the whole time we were there. It wasn’t even busy. One observation is that all the waiting staff were male and the cleaning table staff female which I find a bit sexist!!! The women were also dressed in what looked like beauty salon clothes…. All white. Again why?"
