Ting At The Shangri La

We celebrated our daughter's 15th birthday with a lunch at Ting. We were seated at a window table and enjoyed a delicious meal. All of our children had a great time and the staff was very friendly.

Attended here for 60th birthday celebration for the special pink afternoon tea at the Ting. Our waiter was Elvis and he attended to our needs with exceptional service. Would recommend and visit again.

Our experience at Alpentee in The Ting restaurant in The Shard was excellent. We were seated at a great table by a corner window and had no issues with requesting gluten-free options. The steam effect at the beginning of our meal was a truly impressive moment!

Wonderful relaxing afternoon tea at Ting Restaurant with great views from The Shard. Excellent personal service from Helga who fully explained all the food and the large range of teas. Good ambience and gentle live music too. Very special experience and certainly superior to other...well known London afternoon tea venues we have visited. Completely recommended for a memorable afternoon.

visited in february 2022. from beginning to end was the experience in ting phenomenal, so we found it hard to leave at the end of the evening. all courses were breathtaking and beautifully prepared and presented. a big selling point to this...restaurant would be his prospect, and they are truly stunning. they will certainly not be disappointed. it would be impossible to mention the service that was excellent. thanks to our waitress vincent and sommelier masaki for the attentive service throughout the building. also a special mention of the restaurant marco for its friendly hospitality and ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. we have already booked to return and cannot wait!

Wonderful experience. The Oriental meal was selected for us by Alan Tang, Restaurant Director. Every single dish was of very high quality superb steamed wild seabass, chilli prawns , crab crumpet ,Mapo Tofu, prawn noodles and the vegetable dishes all cooked to perfection!...The black pepper fillet beef dish was worthy of special mention with its lovely wok flavour. The service was excellent full marks to Alan and the team including Danny, Vincent, Scott, Jerry Jing and others. The ambience was extremely pleasant with the usual fabulous views and the bright aspect. There was some live music, not too loud, adding to the overall relaxed feel. A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea here it was a gift for my birthday from my children. Pricey? Yes. A treat? Yes. Worth it? Most definitely YES! The view from floor 37 is, of course, spectacular and the food certainly was...too. However, what made it extra special were all the lovely staff who were just so warm, friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to the wonderful Vincent, who was so knowledgeable about all the tea varieties and was such an engaging and friendly person.
