"The food was average, the prices were low, but still overpriced. Overall, not a great experience. I ordered the chicken satay and pomelo salad, but was not impressed."

"Disappointing, I expected authentic Thai food, but it didn’t happen. The starters were good. However the curry was flavourless. The potatoes were hard and couldn’t be eaten. However the waitress was very pleasant. I have had authentic Thai food and expected the same. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2"

"Siam brasserie has tons of character. It 's a bit odd getting inside as there is a door into what feels like a 1/2 glass 1/2 wood elevator which you then go through to get into the main area. This 'elevator ' ' area is in the way of the stairs so I wonder if it is some kind of Covid precaution to slow entry. The staff let us in before our reservation which was much appreciated as the wind was bitterly cold. Staff led us to a table and gave us menus. Staff were polite and well knowledgeable about the menu. The dishes I tried were exquisite and well presented. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I found the pricing to be reasonable and would visit again when I next go to Chelmsford. A lovely meal was had here."

"The service at this restaurant was fast and welcoming, the establishment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It provided a delightful atmosphere for dining. They had a diverse array of wines, spirits, and delicious virgin cocktails. The Kwai Thai Ale was particularly recommended, as it was light and refreshing, making it an ideal match for spicier dishes. The food was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful blend of flavors and just the right amount of heat. The portion sizes were generous and the spice combinations were just right. There is some parking available nearby, but it's advised to allow extra time to find a spot and walk to the restaurant."

"Having never visited Portsmouth before we didn't know where to get dinner whilst visiting for my wife's work. Good ol' Trip Advisor drew this place to our attention, and boy are we glad it did! Service was friendly but attentive. Good knowledge of what was gluten free for my coeliac wife. All 4 dishes we had were outstanding. I particularly recommend the satay (perfectly cooked chicken) and the penang (such depth of flavour).. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest. A casual but smart interior in a quirky building added to the ambience, and the prices were reasonable. Oh, and if you've got a bit of space at the end of your meal, try the triple chocolate martini you'll thank me! I'm just hoping we need to go back to Portsmouth again soon...."

"We have been to many Thai restaurants across the UK and have usually been pleased and enjoyed the food. We were visiting Chichester for a few days and saw the very good reviews for Lemongrass so decided to give it a try. We ordered one of the set menus and some drinks. The restaurant was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly. Our waitress was called Sandy and she was very bubbly and lovely. The food was amazing from the first to the last course. Every dish was perfect. My husband commented that ‘Even the vegetable dish was excellent’. Lemongrass rounded off our visit to Chichester perfectly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Chichester. I’m sure the locals know what a gem they have already! Ask for Sandy."

"I visited Siamais Broad Street for a Sunday afternoon meal. It was quite quiet at that time, but the host provided excellent service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide variety of options on the menu. The brunch menu, however, lacks cocktail choices, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. The setting is lovely, making it a great spot for a date night, especially since it’s close to many nice bars in Brindley Place. The only downside is the price, which is on the higher side, but that’s typical for Birmingham. Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant. "Makan cafe was a recommendation and wasn’t a disappointment, on portobello road on the outskirts of the street market, this place is a must try….. we were there for the Malaysian food but they also do chimes food, Indian snacks and treats… samosas, kebabs, cakes, desserts…. There’s plenty of choices…. The Roti Canai is very good, flaky and crisp Roti, flavoursome curry…. Top 3 in London….mee hoon goreng seafood…. Vermicelli noodles with seafood and egg…. Mouthwatering good, right amount of spice, very authentic in taste, fresh seafood… washed down with iced teh tarik, correct amount of sweetness and flavour….. take away banana cake which thoroughly enjoyed on train home…. Amazing recommendation and you’ll struggle to find a better cafe that caters for many cuisines…."

"This has to have the best allergy list and access I've known for a restaurant. Having a shellfish allergy and knowing a lot of Thai food has this in regular meat dishes, I have basically stopped eating Thai. Recently I was invited to a birthday dinner and fully accepted I was going for the bland option (sorry I just don't like tofu however dressed up). But the QR code with all the allergens listed was given, I went through all the filters and found, not only was there more than the bland on offer.... Thai red, green and massaman were back on the table for me. It tells you everything including the curry paste ingredients. More restaurants should offer this, instead of making you sign waivers and telling you there's basically nothing we can offer. Nice work giggling squid Tunbridge Wells"

"a group of 6 of us went there on a Monday evening as there were good reviews. it is located in a next street, and the first impression was the datierte decoration. they have an extensive menu and many items are listed as vegan or can be made vegan. we had the opportunity to get in the ground floor near the beginning (which was above warm) or down (which was very cold, as there was no heating) so we chose the ground floor. the restaurant was pretty busy. they serve alcohol. on the menu is located cobra beer 1/2 pint, 1 pint and from the bottle. buy the bottle as there is much cheaper than the design beer. note that on the menu there are poppadums on two places mentioned. £1 for 1. or pay them £3,50 for two if they want something chutney with. they bring them the more expensive if they do not specify. I had punjabi samosas for the starter. they were in order, but I had better elsewhere. one of our groupings the bhel armi, but it did not happen until all others had finished their ancestors, but he said it tasted very beautiful. for the net I had the tofu massaman curry. in the round it consisted of large plates of tofu with some kartoffels in a green sauce. unfortunately my curry lukewarm was when it arrived, but it tasted ok. It was very mild and suitable for my palate. I had to order a part rice separately, and the part rice was bigger than I actually needed. my partner ordered the vegan thiali £17. we told the waiter that we were vegan when we ordered and the vegan thiali is mentioned specifically on the menu. when it arrived, it seemed to have milkrita as well as a non-vegan dessert. we asked the waiter if it was vegan and he said yes, then he reconstructed and took the dessert away to be replaced. he did not seem to be aware that the rita was not vegan. I checked with another employee who said that the rita they brought was not vegan and they would also replace it. another employee said they would replace the rita with a vegan version they did. it seemed just a waiter for most of the time to be, and he seemed to watch his time with headphones in and on his phone! overall eating was ok, the service was not so great. there are many Indian vegetarian restaurants in london and some with beautiful decoration and better eating."

"Have moved to the area at the end of 2019 and have finally ordered from here. Being a big lover of Thai food it was lovely to have a place so close to us and with excellent ratings and it lived up to those too! We ordered two lots of rice, two chicken dishes (cashews and a chilli and basil one) and some veggie spring rolls. Sadly we ended up getting two lots of the cashew dish but it wasn’t a big issue, these things happen now and again. The food was amazing! We will 100% be ordering from them again. Also really friendly staff and an encoring atmosphere."

"Service was unfriendly, my food was cold and we were stuck in a hurricane of a draught right next to the front door and when we asked very nicely if something could be done it seems they did not want to remove the door stop which was keeping the door cracked open. Nothing but water and juice on offer, no Jasmine or Green Tea and the bill which we had not requested was slapped down on the table as soon as we had finished eating our main courses, no dessert, nothing warm to drink, absolutely freezing cold, I was very happy to get out of there...never going back."
