Looking forward to this afternoon tea at Thai Orchid but when we arrived was curtly told that they do not do afternoon teas on Sundays. Who do we blame for that? Open Table, Groupon, or Thai Orchid? All three, I'd say.

"I was also part of the party of 8 last night but I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was very nice and the steak was cooked just right. The young waitress was the perfect host and went out of her way to describe the dishes and the choice of drinks on offer. She was a true professional and the owner should be proud of her. "it was a very authentic Greek restaurant inside. very cozy feeling to play in the background Greek music. the starter we shared was very tasty and fast service, while the main parts where very large, full taste and very hot at the arrival on the table. the waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our needs at the table. the only critique I have is that the tables in which the entrance door is very close, so every time the door opened was a bit of a design while we eat, there was a better sitting order for the next time."

"This place is phenomenal. As a Canadian, I have high expectations of service and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was like a well oiled machine and happened in a timely manner. We had drinks, starters, mains and dessert. Everything was so delicious that when I go back again, It'll be hard not to have the exact same thing! The portions were very big. We were stuffed! It was clean, spacious, well decorated and the staff were all really well presented and lovely. One staff member was wearing her face mask under her nose which was a bit annoying but she was young. You know how youngsters are with bending the rules. It wasn't too expensive, but it wasn't cheap. If you want to have 3 courses and drinks, expect to pay £30 I'll definitely be returning here often. And next time I will take photos! 5 stars from me."
