"Unfortunately, my papaya salad was certainly not freshly prepared.... the tomatoes were soaky and also the fresh salad vegetables with gum-like bite also the dressing was not pikant. The chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts was all right from the general taste, but also the meat appeared to me with a taste, as warmed up. My companions had more luck with pasta dishes and spring rolls. But I will no longer come through this bad luck. If I pay about 50 € for two bottles of water, an appetizer and a main dish, I expect a better quality. The service was extremely friendly!"

"I had a delightful experience at a Thai restaurant two nights ago while dining with a friend. We reserved our table through their convenient online booking system. For starters, we shared a mixed platter of grilled Yum Sums (10 pieces) and a selection of steamed Yum Sums (also 10 pieces). Both were delicious! We then enjoyed a scrumptious Pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée, which had a subtle hint of ginger and was accompanied by a delightful ginger shortbread biscuit. The only downside for me was the crème brûlée; I found it a bit watery, and the top wasn't caramelized thoroughly, leaving some sugar clumps. Overall, the starters and main course were fantastic! The staff was friendly, and the ambiance was lovely, adorned with traditional Thai decorations like dancer head masks and paintings. Soft music played in the background, adding to the pleasant atmosphere without being too loud, making it easy to chat while enjoying the tunes. I will definitely return, or perhaps order food for delivery!"

"First time ever in this place and it definitely won't be our last. We fell in love with how authentic this place looks. Then the staff were super friendly, polite and absolutely fantastic at their job. The food was 2nd to none. We ordered some appetizers then our mains and along with a couple of drinks each I was surprised our bill wasn't more expensive than it was. The flavours if the dishes we ordered were astonishing, absolutely bursting with taste and authentic flavours of the Orient. Definitely making more visits to this place and without doubt the best Thai restaurant around."

"I ordered takeout from Anna's Thai for the second time on February 4th, and I must say, this was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When I called to place an order for delivery, I was told that I had to order online. Before I could respond, the person on the other end of the line hung up. Despite enjoying the food previously, I placed an order with the expectation that my delivery would arrive within an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes passed, I had to call twice as they kept telling me the driver was on the way, first in 5-6 minutes and then 3 minutes. Unfortunately, my partner, who is diabetic, was becoming unwell due to his sugar levels, so I cancelled the order and demanded a refund. I was then told that the driver mistook my neighbour for the one who ordered (clearly not reading the order properly) and that they would prepare another meal for us. I rushed out to get an alternative takeaway to avoid further delays, only to find out that our food was being accepted by our so-called neighbour (the driver asked if the food was for them at the specific door number). This was essentially theft and shocking. When I confronted the driver about this and why he was giving our food to someone else, he wanted to give it back to me, which is against Health Safety regulations. I declined and asked him to take the food back. The driver then swore at me, got back in the car, and sped off. Although the restaurant responded to my email quickly, they have not taken any accountability for the situation, claiming that they don't have control over the drivers' behavior once they leave the shop, and their only responsibility is to drop off the food. I am still waiting to see if they will acknowledge their failure to meet customer expectations. My advice: do not order from Anna's Thai."

"Oh dear, where do I start We had horses we own running at Newton Abbot and having made the journey from Salisbury by train, decided to look for a restaurant on the way back and were pleased when The Thai Orchid took our online booking...A short while after booking we took a call asking us to delay our booking slot due to a large party arriving simultaneously, no problem I said. Anyway with our taxi already booked we arrived in the lovely Cathedral Close setting at around and enjoyed drinks outside an neighbouring bar. With no sign of the large party arrival at just after we enquired as to the availability of our booked table, but readily agreed to our previously agreed delayal On sitting at our table at around it became apparent that the proprietor (an ageing plump and goatee bearded gent) was a rather stressed. We were presented with foldered menus and a wine list as well as a tatty single sheet ‘temporary wine list’, ordering from the more elaborate list seemed to irritate ‘mine host’ , explaining he had issues with his normal supplier, hence the temporary offering, one wonders why on earth we were tempted by the normal offerings and subsequently questioned the nature of said dispute! Anyway a perfectly acceptable bottle arrived followed by our starters, part of the set meal we chose An hour later, my wife gently enquired as to the likely arrival of our main course, with it now being and our train departure being She was chastised by the proprietor for not making him aware of our ‘tight timescale’. I would not have thought an booking to catch a train at a station nearby was overly reckless On quietly discussing this with my wife, I mentioned that I thought our chosen venue appeared to be rather ‘a shambles’ This seemed to light the proverbial touch paper… ‘did somebody say the word shambles’, muttered our host, through gritted teeth… I duly admitted, explaining our disappointment, quietly and rationally, only to be roared at… telling us to get out and that we a year old couple) were banned for life My wife was consoled by what appeared to be a senior waitress, ‘oh no, not again’ she said, a history check on this very site, proving such aggressive outbursts are not uncommon here. We were escorted to the door where our charming host told me how keen he was to ‘knock my f…… block off’ Please do review my history here on Trip Advisor and judge my rationale . Never, ever have I been treated like this… This man is indeed A SHAMBLES"

"go here quite often and every time I am just mesmerized, how good the service is especially eddy and the quality of the food. we love extra hot and spicy and they provide our needs every time. always on the ball and offer suggestions that are not always on the menu and they occasionally show specials on the wall for wine offers and menu ideas. they love the spicy crackers and my favorites are the mixed seafood grill and the fish with garlic ... they will always listen to them .. very recommended and even my Thai friends love it there as it is pure thai food."

"Thai pot at Covent Garden London serves delicious, tasty Thai food. Thai green curry is fresh with vegetables and you have options to take prawns or chicken. The chicken wings was crispy and tasty too. The papaya salad was the best dish and a perfect salad to start your meal with. It had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness and really done well. It’s worth the visit and you have to try the papaya salad for sure. The service was super quick, good ambience and very convenient access from the Covent Garden station. Highly recommend this place"

"we stumbled this hidden gem randomly while on justeat and thought we would give it a piece (we wanted to order a Chinese takeaway). I wanted to gather because they didn't deliver to my opposite, but it was as fast as I went through the door 25 30mins later. we had eat Thai selection and Thai style to begin that everything had been made fresh (to die the sweet ice cream cake, like the grilled toast and the ribs were so delicate and full of taste. then I had cleaned the king chee with cocosy rice, and my man had the huh pad gra with sticky rice. my had the perfect mix of lemongrass and cocosnus with a mild chili hat, and my man who loves very sharply seasoned food was very happy with the arome and seasoned in his hit! we will certainly order again (and perhaps even get a pudding next time!"

"When I arrived at the restaurant, no one greeted me or showed me to a table, so I seated myself. The kitchen staff saw me but failed to inform any other staff that there were new customers waiting. I waited for 25 minutes until my friend arrived. Nobody came to give us menus or take our drink orders. Once my friend arrived, she had to go to the kitchen herself to place our order. "We decided to celebrate my son's birthday as we have been here before. Food is nice but service is terrible. We spent an hour waiting to order our 2nd starter and being serve. In fact, myself and family is waiting whilst writing this review. Everytime you get a staff to request to order, they refer us to a lady who just appears to be overwhelmed. I could.understand that the place is busy but why just limit the ordering to one person. This is a ploy to delay the food output. Bearing in mind that it is Sunday evwning, they should anticipate this possibility that it could be hectic. As much as i try to understand, this whole experience has taken it another level of wait all you can buffet. The mere fact that they have the audacity to ask us to move our table to accommodate another guest. I will never go back to this place. "Bar Salsa is definitely going to become a favourite place of mine to visit on a regular basis. I discovered it two weekends ago whilst exploring Soho, Covent Garden and Leicester Square with a friend. We were keen to catch up and so wanted to find a bar to sit down and have a relaxing drink. We were attracted to Bar Salsa instantly due to its vibrancy and fairy lights (very girly I know but they really would look lovely in the evening too! We went into the bar which set alight your senses. You just don 't know where to look! It has chic furnishings and quirky murals/paintings on the walls which were so bright and vibrant! Being a creative pair we were became very intrigued by the venue and took a look around downstairs. Downstairs was the 'club/bar ' area very dim let with an array of lights (even disco lights on the dance floor featuring different levels of flooring. It was so exhilarating; we instantly wanted to return on another occasion especially after we discovered they offer salsa nights for minimal money. The thought of dancing away to the Spanish club music soon became too much for us and we decided to return later on with boyfriends in tow (of course they wanted to salsa who wouldn 't?! . We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was good value for money. They also informed us that it would soon be happy hour and all cocktails would be at least half price! We were definitely staying! We sat in the outside courtyard in the sun which was lovely. The ambiance was great with people chatting away, we didn 't even notice the big, busy main road next to us! Happy hour soon arose and we ordered two cocktails at the downstairs bar. These were delicious, some of the best cocktails we had ever had! If we hadn 't had to have left to meet my friend 's boyfriend we would have stayed in there all evening! We did return in the evening but unfortunately didn 't enter as entry price rises after 9:00pm. Although highly disappointed by this we will no doubt return! I rated the Salsa bar a 4.5, we had a delightful experience but we are yet to experience the club and salsa.I definitely recommend any upbeat, easy going person to visit especially if they love music, dancing and cocktails!"

"i had walked past this place earlier in the evening and decided to pop in about 8.30 to give it a try. I was greeted at the door and asked if i wanted a table but i opted for a takeaway option. It was a monday evening and not very busy but the staff were attentive and service was nice and quick. I wasnt offered a drink whilst i waited but i didnt realise it was going to be as quick as it was so that was probably a good thing. I went for the grilled chicken Thai Green Curry from the chefs special option. It was a nice meal. A takeaway version may never do a restaurant full justice and i will try and revisit for a sit down meal soon"

"After traveling to Thailand, we were thrilled to find authentic Thai food here in the USA. The restaurant is beautifully designed, the staff is attentive, and the food is simply excellent. My wife ordered the fish soup and the sea bass, while I had the ripe mango salad followed by the red Thai chicken curry. It was so delicious that we returned the very next night! Sitting on the balcony is a lovely experience, but unfortunately, those seats cannot be reserved—they're available on a first-come, first-served basis. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment, as people start lining up around 6 pm!"

"Been coming here for quite some time and no mater how many times I eat here, I never get bored of the menu. I've eaten at many other Thai restaurants in south east London and none have compared, food wise, as good as this place. It's quite disguising as its doesn't look like the most wowing or busiest from the outside BUT don't be mislead. There's a nice local relaxing atmosphere and the food appears very fresh! every time I've sat in there the Deliveroo cyclers are flowing in and out. Price maybe slightly above average and starters could be a bit better value for money but for authenticity and quality after my trips to Thailand, this place is the one! Highly recommend if you're in the area."

"My family and I went to this restaurant for an early dinner. Despite having a reservation, the staff was rushing us along even though the restaurant was empty. When our food arrived, it was beautifully presented, but the curry dishes all tasted very similar and lacked chicken. The beef with chilli and basil was overly salty and not spicy enough. The papaya salad was not up to its usual standard. The only saving grace was the delicious coconut ice cream for dessert. After years of visiting, we are hesitant to return again."
