"Unfortunately, my papaya salad was certainly not freshly prepared.... the tomatoes were soaky and also the fresh salad vegetables with gum-like bite also the dressing was not pikant. The chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts was all right from the general taste, but also the meat appeared to me with a taste, as warmed up. My companions had more luck with pasta dishes and spring rolls. But I will no longer come through this bad luck. If I pay about 50 € for two bottles of water, an appetizer and a main dish, I expect a better quality. The service was extremely friendly!"

"thanks for a good evening. we had cocktails, appetizers and nets. service and eating were good, but a basic viognier starts at £34, bringing them our bill for four to £250 including a tip that felt pretty sharp for the quality of the offered food, good enough but not big (soft dish crumb: too much teig and sauce overwhelmed the crab, swallow soup doll get too much. , service was efficient and charming and charming. the open kitchen is also a beautiful note, and the seating of the kitchen creates beautiful alcoves for four to sit comfortably."

"Ordred this twice at my friend's apartment and the food is really good, Penang Curry is spicy and tasty. Tempura Prawns and fish cakes were really nice. We also ordred Duck Pancakes which was very nice and filling. The papaya salad is sooo good!! Food is always at a good quality and done at a good pace. Will deffo order again and try more dishes! "The restaurant offers a variety of sushi dishes that are above average for Munich, as well as Thai food. We ordered the lobster curry, which was mostly lychees with little lobster, and the Tom Kha Gai soup, which was missing lemongrass. The mixed starter plate was uninspired variations of fried chicken and shrimp with little flavor diversity. It's best to avoid sitting in the main area, which feels like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Despite requesting a nice corner table for a birthday celebration and following up with a phone call, we were seated in the center of the impersonal room. As a Munich local with nostalgic memories of the restaurant from the 90s, I feel that Mangostin has lost its charm and the food quality has declined over the years. The hostess was rude, but our waitress was excellent. Overall, the birthday celebration was disappointing and I do not plan on returning."

"Have eaten at the Thai Orchid many times, the food and service has always been excellent. However, today was very different! We booked a table for lunch and had an emailed confirmation several days ago. After a mile drive, we arrived at the restaurant...at the agreed time to find the door locked and lights off. Knocking the door brought a man who said they wern't open despite our booking. He closed and locked the door not very professional! Some minutes later, we managed to attract the attention of a lady who turned out to be the chef. She was far more polite than the previous man, contacted the owner, who, from the conversation didn't seem to care. The chef said we could go inside, but she said she didn't know how to turn on the lights and said several times she couldn't serve food. Needless to say, we walked away. A real pity to be treated in such an unprofessional way by the restaurant; you have to do better. We will not be returning!"

"First time ever in this place and it definitely won't be our last. We fell in love with how authentic this place looks. Then the staff were super friendly, polite and absolutely fantastic at their job. The food was 2nd to none. We ordered some appetizers then our mains and along with a couple of drinks each I was surprised our bill wasn't more expensive than it was. The flavours if the dishes we ordered were astonishing, absolutely bursting with taste and authentic flavours of the Orient. Definitely making more visits to this place and without doubt the best Thai restaurant around."

"there was a whole vegetarian menu that we were told was also usually vegan with a few taken out (e.g. when they ask the pad Thai to do it without a). the personal seemed completely glued when we explained that we were vegan and when I double checked, there was no fish sauce in the dressed that are so marked that they said there was no. we had dimmed to begin, followed by pad thai and massaman curry. the food was delicious, the service was good and the restaurant was spacious and airy."

"Ok,let’s get things straight.Cockroaches don’t have to mean the place is dirty. I was here for the food on recommendation,and I was so so disappointed. The staff are welcoming however the food isn’t. I went for a salad to start,very watery and far too much lettuce. For main I had a curry and asked for it extra hot.As well as being like they’d left the tap on it(so watery)there wasn’t any kick to it at all.Considering their top end price tag I was expecting far greater quality. My advise: Avoid,look elsewhere or go to a supermarket and buy a commercial Thai dish,I’m sure it will be far far tastier. In a nutshell: Poor quality and overpriced."

"Dreadful, although inexplicably some people seem to like it. I have heard rumours of 'We only serve this food because it's what unsophisticated english diners want'. But that is no excuse. This is the worst Thai food I have ever had. It is expensive and the Massaman curry was one of the worst things I have ever been served, brown plain gravy with a few peanuts leftover from a bar counter thrown in. "When I arrived at the restaurant, no one greeted me or showed me to a table, so I seated myself. The kitchen staff saw me but failed to inform any other staff that there were new customers waiting. I waited for 25 minutes until my friend arrived. Nobody came to give us menus or take our drink orders. Once my friend arrived, she had to go to the kitchen herself to place our order. The service was really poor. Despite the food tasting great, I will not be dining there again. It was one of the most unwelcoming and unfriendly places I have been to."

"We decided to celebrate my son's birthday as we have been here before. Food is nice but service is terrible. We spent an hour waiting to order our 2nd starter and being serve. In fact, myself and family is waiting whilst writing this review. Everytime you get a staff to request to order, they refer us to a lady who just appears to be overwhelmed. I could.understand that the place is busy but why just limit the ordering to one person. This is a ploy to delay the food output. Bearing in mind that it is Sunday evwning, they should anticipate this possibility that it could be hectic. As much as i try to understand, this whole experience has taken it another level of wait all you can buffet. The mere fact that they have the audacity to ask us to move our table to accommodate another guest. I will never go back to this place. SO PEOPLE, IF YOU LIKE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MEAL, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. I would.never come.back to this place again."

"friendly welcome and accommodated us even though early. ordered each course separately as didn't want to be rushed and not sure of portion sizes. Honestly each course was absolutely delicious and they are not frightened to use spices so our lips were tingling very nicely! wine is on the expensive side but this is the heart of London. "We booked Karaoke and drinks space at Krua the team were incredible, not only throughout our stay, but throughout the booking process too Nutchaya was so flexible with our changing needs and was a delight to communicate with. The service and standard on the day was second the none and I am very much looking forward to coming again. The Karaoke room was also perfect for a big group and everyone had a blast! We didn't have any food at the restaurant but it looked and smelt amazing I can't wait to come back and try it. Many thanks again to the team!"

"We came to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was fairly busy but not completely full. My first impression was this is more like a ‘down market’ café that a ‘good Thai restaurant. The staff were dressed in quite scruffy clothes and the seats and tables were as you would find in a café, not in a decent restaurant. When we were seated, it took about ten minutes for the menu to arrive. It took about 20 mins for the food to arrive. The quantity of food was small and it was almost certainly pre cooked. This restaurant seems to do a lot of ‘take away meals’ and as a result, there seemed to be an exceptional number of scooter riders parking outside the restaurant and helmeted and black motor cycle suited, entering the restaurant to collect their food. This was not a nice aspect of dining here. With 2 beers, this 2 course meals cost 55.00 I think that it is a high price for such poor quality food. We will not return."

"This was our first visit to Patara, and as lovers of Thai food, we were eager to try it out. We arrived on a Friday night at 6:45 pm and were promptly seated at our table. The menu had a fantastic variety of options, and we opted for the silver set menu, which included delicious dishes such as fried sea bass, spicy pork, green curry, and a courgette and basil dish. The portions were generous, and we also noticed a tempting Emerald vegetarian menu that we will try next time. The restaurant was filling up as we left, but the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend Patara for its fantastic food, great staff, and convenient location. If you love Thai cuisine and find yourself in Wimbledon, Patara is a must-try. And don't forget to try their delicious cocktails!"
