"Excellent service from Sherralee once again who was our waitress on Tuesday evening 16th of April, as usual she has a great vibe about her and as always she raises the atmosphere with her hospitality skills and being her happy self. This sadly went from a 10 out of 10 visit to an absolute minus when some loud woman with a blue top and black blazer took over from Sherralee. She let us wait a long time and seem to stop Sherralee from serving us. She seemed spiteful towards Sherralee and ruined the atmosphere for us. We never bothered with deserts and could not wait to leave, as a result we hope that we will not see her at the restaurant again. If we do we will leave and return when Sherralee gives us the service. I remember Sherralee having over 700 likes on social media last year due to her service and hospitality skills. I do hope this does not affect her hospitality as this woman could destroy a nice establishment that we enjoy visiting."

"When deciding between Toscana and pizza express, sadly, and regrettably we made the wrong decision. A 330ml bottle of peroni was nearly £4??? My partner ordered the Bolognese, and I the caprese and prociutto salad. We were not offered any cheese or salt and pepper...(which sadly were not readily available on our table). You’d think that a bolognaise would contain copious amounts of mince. It did not. It was more akin to a tomato pasta ready meal from Tesco, this applied also to the presentation of said dish. £12 for that? Ridiculous. As for the salad, it was mediocre at best.no real flavour, barely any dressing, and hardly any mozzarella. We were also seated next to a fire door which had staff going through multiple times during the hour we stayed. The loud banging unfortunately did not contribute to the already non existent ambience. All in all, thoroughly disappointed"

"My wife and I were travelling between points across west London on a rain swept afternoon. Partly to shelter from intermittent cloudbursts and partly to assuage creeping hunger, we walked into this Pizzeria. Fortunately, there were only a few patrons in when we arrived, although the numbers steadily increased thereafter. Service was friendly and attentive and I liked the starters and found the sides interesting, but the mains thin crust pizza of the particular variety we ordered, proved to be a little too bland for my taste. It was a filling meal when we needed one, but I don't plan to rush back soon."

"I have not been here for years, in fact the last time I heard the name the Company was going bust. Anyway we popped in for lunch. Two pizzas ordered, old favourite for me...Sloppy Giuseppe, and La Reine for my girlfriend. Mistake made, pizzas ordered with Romana base, larger than Classic, but crispy. Pizzas served with pizza wheel cutting tool, useless. Had to turn the knife into a hack saw to tackle the base, not satisfactory, we should have stuck to the originals! Pleasant waitress, only three tables occupied for a Tuesday lunch. 1 x small sparkling water, 1 x large Peroni 1 x large white wine, £56. Pizza almost impossible to eat, but tasty. I will try again one more time!"

Despite being told over the phone that there was a whole vegan menu, I only found 2 vegan options listed on the menu. The pizza was mediocre and cold, lacking excitement in taste. The staff seemed unhappy and inconvenienced when asked about vegan options, showing a lack of care for accommodating vegans. In comparison, Frankie and Benny's offer the best vegan pizza in Inverness, as Dominos, Pizza Hut, and this restaurant fall short in providing satisfactory vegan choices."

"My husband and I recently acquired a smartphone and decided to try out the PizzaExpress App. Although we had some initial struggles, we eventually managed to log in and use it at the PizzaExpress in Plymouth Derry's Cross. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a table right away. Our waitress, Libby, was fantastic and even brought us water without us having to ask. We enjoyed some delicious drinks and appetizers before selecting our main courses. With Libby's help, we were able to navigate the menu on the app and order our meals. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Overall, a great experience at PizzaExpress."

"Consistently excellent. I have reviewed Pizza Express many times before, so there may be no need for another review. However, when a UK chain is able to consistently produce the best pizza in the world, why not give them another shout out? With the recent closure of Prezzo, Jamie Oliver's restaurants, and others, I would be disappointed to see Falmouth Pizza Express go out of business. My Nduja Calzone was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and the location was fantastic."

"this resteraunt is quite chilled out, has usually got quite a calm atmosphere, if you have to wait for a table there is comfortable sofas to wait on. you dont have to wait long for a table and the waiters are very attentive they leave you to decide and come back to ask for a drink first, there is quite a large range of alcoholic drinks for a pizza place, there is also a large range of soft drinks too. i would definetly recommend their dough balls! if you are sharing pizzas and starters then it is more than likely that it wont cost too much and that you'll also have money for a lovely dessert, even though you would probably be too full for it. if you do not want pizza there is also a choice of other pasta dishes. i think that there is also the option to take away. think this may be better for a group of friends or family rather than a date but overall lovely food at a decent price."

"What a nice experience tonight! Unfortunately I am away for work during valentines day. Oblivious until I realised that would mean me dining alone on a celebrated night for couples. AWKWARD! Put on my big girl pants and headed to the closest Pizza express (club app is awesome- lots of discounts if you are a fan) because its a easy favourite. Had a laugh with the staff regarding my table for 1 situation. Food perfect- classic pizza express quality. Service was great and attentive and everything as needed, with all requests met with happiness. Asked for a takeaway dessert as Its nice to have a sneaky treat before bed.... but mid snack I realised this was the note the server gave me..... how lovely. We had a giggle on my awkward dining experience, we talked about how being women it's always difficult being out dining alone. But this blew me away! So Niesa (hope this is the right name) thank you for supporting the lady on table 27 at approx 8pm. You are wonderful, thoughtful and a great champion of the pizza express brand! Hope they reward you well for the exceptional service. Happy valentines day!"

"this review focuses on takeaway . first the online order was very easy. the restaurant is very beautifully designed. simple and modern decorations. wide and spacious. the cook in an open area where the customers can see them, a very beautiful thing in my sight. the cooking area ia clean and organized. I was greeted by one of the employees, she told me to wait a few minutes until my order is finished. the only thing I didn't like is that I saw two crates ready, but it took them about 5 to 8 minutes to tell me they were for me, and I wasn't able to talk to one of the workers to ask them because they were all busy. I ordered bufala margerita and cheese garlic bread. as far as taste is concerned, the pizza is very tasty, the teig is simply perfect and the toppings are mouthwater. the garlic bread is okay."

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that we could request any pizza with any base, even if it wasn’t listed on the menu. For dessert, we shared a triple salted caramel cheesecake served with gelato and roasted popcorn. Overall, the pizzas were good—the toppings were nicely balanced. However, the base of my Margherita Romana was slightly overcooked and a bit too crispy in places. The pizza express is indeed their specialty, and while the dessert was decent, it wasn’t outstanding; the popcorn was a little on the soggy side."

"The lady that served us (jasmine)was very attentive and helpful and helped with our special requests and dealt with our send backs well was just let down by the so called chef. The food was not up to the usual standard that we have enjoyed here before , Both pizzas we ordered was undercooked with dough undercooked and the “crispy “ base far from crispy I hate to ever mention or play this card but I’ve been a chef for 19 years and a head chef for many of those and in places that have served pizzas but i know it just wasn’t right both times at all food wise the nearly £7 dough balls were just microwaved with some cheese on , calamari was under fried pizzas as I said were undercooked and my sons cesar salad was just bulked up with bruised roquet. Not to get to much change from £100 for 3 of us (did have some overpriced drinks) you expect it to be much better , again jasmine was great and seemed to just accept that a complaint was coming as another table complained it shouldn’t be like that we need to make sure the foh staff are not in the firing line with issues that are not there fault that’s why I didn’t complain as much as I possibly should of. Sorry for the rant"

"I took my daughter out of collage and asked her where she wanted to go, she replied lets do pizza express unfortunately has deteriorated the standard of customer service in this facility. I'm already dozens of paints here, but now it seems. to have gone into the pan. the manager should understand that if his personal is not trained to be on the ball and awake, then his will will lose customers. it seems literally as if the workers are in the nightsister or in another form of medicaments. I am also sure that if it were their own restaurant and should raise their game. I am so disappointed that this restaurant has taken a dive, and it is only so that they can recover is that they give more smiles and attention. it was literally like in a dental waiting room also I noticed that the size of the pizzas shrunk consummation 2/10"
