"We returned to Poppadoms Cream after being extremely pleased with our last visit. Once again, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, and our food was prepared beautifully. Upon our arrival, we noticed a few satisfied customers dining. We overheard positive comments from customers who had dined there before. During our visit, the staff also welcomed a large group of men and a large family gathering, handling them with ease. We will definitely be back again."

"This is one of the best dessert shops in the area. The staff is always friendly and the desserts taste amazing with fresh ingredients. I usually order for pick up and the wait time is usually around 20 minutes. I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I had a terrible experience with delivery - it took about 2 hours for the food to arrive. I would definitely recommend this place for pick up orders."

"Booked for a party of 9 adults, a toddler and a baby 6pm Friday 2nd June 23. From the second we sat down the attitude of the waiters was apparent. It’s a bring your own alcohol place they seemed reluctant to give us glasses!! There were very few other diners at that time yet the main waiter kept trying to rush us to order! They virtually slung the all dishes (we all had 3 courses) at us with absolutely NO FINESSE WHATSOEVER we asked for water to be served to the table that never arrived! There wasn’t one smile or courteous gesture the whole time we were there the food was good everyone enjoyed it but the atmosphere from the waiters was as if they didn’t want us there. They say they are ‘family friendly’ and can cater for groups but it was obvious they were not very happy with us!! So sad because it is very local convenient for us as a family to get there. But WE WON’T BE GOING AGAIN after this experience!!!!"

Other than that very nice tasty hot food. will definitely order again"

"I eat vegan food because I am allergic to dairy, egg and shelfish (I have an anaphylaxis allergy to shelfish aka my throat closes over why I eat it). I was immediately disappointed with this restaurant as the staff were rude, the atmosphere was unpleasant and the service was very slow (took 1hour and a half to be served). Things got worse when my supposedly vegan food arrived but had shellfish in it I soon spent the evening in A&E fearing for my life. When I went in the next day to politely asked what had been put in my food (in case I reacted to a new allergen) the owner treated me unkindly and told me the allergy was my fault. Never again will I support this business owner and I do not reccomend this place for anyone"

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was promised a 10% discount on my takeaway order, but when I returned to pick up my food, I was charged the full price. The staff claimed that the menu already included the 10% discount, which is not true. When I asked for the discount, they only reduced the price of the main course by £1, but not the starter, vegetable dish, or naan bread. They refused to honor the discount, so I was overcharged by £2.70. I will not be returning to this restaurant and felt compelled to leave this review to warn others."

"Wow! Ordered food from here didn’t listen to a word I said so when the food came there was an order missing. When I called them they read back the order but missed out the other order and quickly put the phone down which I thought was so rude definitely wasn’t worth £16 won’t be ordering again. "It's unfortunate that this restaurant has potential with its tasty food, but the service is severely lacking. In the five times we've ordered, our food was delivered incorrectly each time. The first time I arranged for collection, they hadn't even checked their online orders. The second collection went smoothly, but the third time, our order was wrong again. The premises appear unhygienic, and the staff do not seem to be taking any precautions for COVID-19, such as wearing masks or gloves. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the lack of proper hygiene standards and accuracy in orders make it unlikely that we will return. Out of the eight times we've visited, we've only had a satisfactory experience once."
