"Our party was a group of 6 friends getting together for the first time in 3+ years one couple visiting from the USA The food drink and service were excellent unfortunately it was extremely noisy in the bar area where we were seated probably due to the presence of a very noisy raucous group sat at the bar Having said that it would not discourage the 4 locals of us returning soon"

"We visited for a second time as our first was fabulous. Unfortunately the food was not as good this time. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with chips, the steak was ok but the chips were bog standard manufactured whereas before were lovely chunky triple cooked hand cut. My friend and I had the lamb curry which was so salty and the rice was very dry. There was quite a gap between first and main courses so I asked if there was a problem to be told they were just busy. We were however offered a half pint of beer each which I thought was acceptable. It's a shame as we recommended it to our friends who we went with. The pub itself is lovely with great outside space and a terrace. I would drink there as they have a great range of beers but not sure if I would eat again"
