"This was my second time dining here, and once again I faced a long wait for a table. This time it was an hour, and during the wait, we were only offered a drink, which I think should have been complimentary given the lengthy delay. Fortunately, we managed to find a spot to sit while waiting, but many others who arrived after us had to stand around. Honestly, I might have decided to leave if we hadn’t found a place to wait. However, once we were seated, the service and food were good, and the atmosphere was lively. I’d love to return, but the long wait for a table is definitely a turn-off, especially since it happened both times I visited."

"Had been looking forward to trying this place as had heard great reviews but unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered chilli garlic Prawns which did not contain peppers as described and the sauce tasted like chilli ketchup. Squid starter was the most disappointing, the batter was coming off the squid resulting in a congealed sauce which was thick anyway.. Shame about texture as sauce was flavoursome. . The butter chicken was lovely but quite spicy which is surprising as this dish is usually mild, unfortunately no indication of spice level on website otherwise would have asked for spice to be reduced. Placed order over the phone but now wished I placed it on website as they didn't apply correct meal deal, when asked I was advised the butter chicken was not classic curry and therefore not included in deal. Only checked when I returned home and this was one of the dish choices on website for the meal deals. This resulted in over charging me which is bit dishonest."

"This restaurant review describes the writer's first Christmas lunch of the season, which set a high standard for future meals. The meal consisted of up to 3 courses for a little over £30. The special Christmas menu offered some options that were also available on the regular menu, but the turkey ballotine was the standout choice. The dish, surrounded by roast vegetables and served with gravy, was described as large, flavorful, and succulent. The lamb dish was also enjoyed with great compliments. The food was well presented and served by a friendly and talkative host. The writer is tempted to return for another meal at the restaurant."

"I've past this Giraffe a few times in the past and especially in the morning, it's busy in the morning. When you book a table online it will give you two options; standard or top. I booked it standard but I was curious of the top option, so I've changed it and was happy with the result. Location is within 10min of Victoria station, venue has both in/or outdoor seating so option is there. It's not a super big venue but it seems that there are enough decent space between the tables. Service was ok, they were not a lot of people in the restaurant so not sure why it took longer to get our main when my main came, the visual appearance is nice but the chicken was lukewarm and borderline cold. Didn't complain cus I was not sure if the chicken was meant to be cold as the salad plate that I got, well it was cold. It's a nice restaurant and worth a visit. The while Giraffe set up reminds me a bit of Zizi."

"I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"Sunday evening. We have visited the Ram Inn on several occasions during the past 2/3 years and each time we have been disappointed with the meals. Each time there is something that we have ordered from the menu that is not available. For example, one time they did not have the particular type of potatoes advertised on the menu and another time I ordered a medium/rare steak and when it arrived it was REALLY well done. "We opted for the Sharing Menu for Two, featuring a vegetarian selection and the chef's special picks, along with a Piña Colada—perfectly sweet, just the right balance. I also shared an Espresso Martini with a friend, and it was absolutely delicious! The meal started with a basket of pita and homemade bread, accompanied by tzatziki and aubergine cream. The bread was beautifully presented, and I also sampled the aubergine cream. I never expected such a fantastic combination! Next, we tried the Dolmadakia, which were delightful, and the feta filo fried cheese spring rolls drizzled with honey were a highlight—so tasty! The chicken tacos featured tender pork shreds that tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the Aubergine Imam; although I'm not usually a fan of onions, they were cooked down until soft and the sauce masked the onion's flavor quite well—not bad at all! The barbecue-glazed pork souvlaki was truly exceptional—definitely a 10/10! It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. To finish off, I ordered dessert: a pistachio cake with cinnamon white chocolate sauce. I found it a bit too sweet for my taste; however, those who enjoy sweeter treats may want to give it a try. "The staff at the restaurant was welcoming and it was great to see vegan options on the menu. The kids' menu also offered vegan choices, which was a pleasant surprise. The Vegan Bruschetta, made with toasted pagnotta bread and marinated tomatoes, was delicious and even better than the pizza. It had a fresh and vibrant taste. I would definitely recommend it! We also tried a pizza with Marinated Artichokes, Sautéed Mushrooms, and Grilled Eggplants. The crust was good and the vegetables were cooked well. While the Italian restaurant may still want to consider adding meat options, we were satisfied with our vegan meal."

"Few visiting canary wharf would not have walked past it but rarely would have sat to have a drink or coffee. What a pity because it surely is a hidden gem! And why? You will most likely always find a couch which in canary wharf is quiet an exception where people jostle for space in packed pubs. It has happy hours from 6 7 each day which is surely unheard of in canary wharf. It is nice and warm and indoors a deal breaker in winter months. Serving time for a drink is less than 5 min. And last but not the least it has a nice vantage point with view of the food court of jubilee place. I am sure it is the closest pub from jubilee line and would beat even all bar one. Where it fails is the limited starter/ snack menu. The only option is slices of pizza. The dining menu is good but I doubt you will be dinning here given the numerous options downstairs. I would highly recommend this place if you haven 't been here."

"I rated the restaurant on earlier visit when I had their normal menu. her eating was absolutely delicious. unfortunately I went there christmas eve and online booked was not aware that they only served a set menu. because my family did not eat on the menu except truthahn that we had the next day, we decided not to stay. the staff was very gracious and we felt terrible, but I recommend this restaurant when it served its normal menu."

"this is our eighth year in a row we went to Christmas dinner. always great pizza and nice beer. Eating is very valuable with 2 4 1 pizzas, but beer is expensive. a thing that I think the Republic of beer hall is let down that they ask them to pay for their meal and drinks in advance as soon as they have ordered, rather than at the end of the meal. I like this feeling of distrust that they give. will be back next year."

"My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, thanks to the lovely waitress named Olesia. I was fascinated by the flowers in the Greek mountain teapot, and she made extra effort to find these tea flowers for me and even gave me some to take home. While I asked other waiters and waitresses about the flowers in the tea, Olesia was the only one who paid attention and provided exceptional customer service based on my interest. The food was deliciously prepared, and I highly recommend trying the taramasalata here as well!"

"This is mine and my mum’s absolute go to restaurant before a show in Edinburgh. Without fail this is where we end up at the start of our night. Great prices, food and staff – I cannot recommend this place enough. Last time we had the pre theatre menu and everything was delicious and served very promptly. I started off with the fried Camembert which was delicious and just melted in my mouth while my mum had the mushroom in the white wine sauce. For main course; one of my favourite Italian dishes is meatballs and pasta which luckily was on the menu – it had lots of garlic through it which is just the way I like it. My mum went for the lasagna which was lovely but extremely hot when it was delivered to the table. As if I hadn't eaten enough I had apple pie for dessert while my mum had a coffee. Everything was delicious and we were out in plenty of time for our show. I’ll definitely be back again."

"I've been using this Subway for years and enjoyed the food and atmosphere...it is fast food and facing a bus station. However, I have to say that the service,manners, and politeness seem to have disappeared. It's not as if the counter assistant was rushed of his feet with customers. It was seemingly all too much trouble for the staff. Additionally, sitting eating whilst listening to the assistant cough up phlegm is not conducive to a pleasant eating atmosphere. It'll be a while till I visit again."
