"We had biryani with lamb on the bone and my partner had manchurian veggie balls and veggie noodles. The biryani came in a fairly big bowl but the lamb on the bone portion was only just adequate. The lamb was tender and tasted very nice. The rice was just okay Fairly nice flavours but overrall a very dry dish and I didn't like the cloves in the rice. It was expensive for what it was! My partner enjoyed the manchurian veggie balls but said they were very spicy. She did NOT enjoy the veggie noodles as she said they were bland. I tried the noodles too and I could've done a better cooking job at home and I'm not a good cook!!!!! Most of the veggie noodles were left on the plate!! The waiter did NOT help us with our menu choices which is POOR customer service! To sum up, the food was average and expensive for what you got We may be tempted to return if there is a special offer in TWO years time!!!!! "The service was friendly and attentive. I was shown to my table and presented with a menu. I ordered pappdoms and a pickle tray. The four pickles were tasty. Cobra and Kingfisher were on draft. I ordered a pint of Cobra but it tasted off so I asked for Kingfisher instead. I was not charged for the Cobra as the waiter agreed it was off. I ordered the Lamb Biryani which came with yogurt raita or curry sauce. It was spicy and the portion was large. My bill came to £17 which I thought was reasonable."

"My partner went out to pick up some vegetables in batter with sweet and sour sauce with Jasmine rice. They were told there was no batter available, so my partner asked if plain vegetables would suffice, to which they agreed. However, what was brought back was disappointing to both of us. Instead of Jasmine rice, we received plain white rice that tasted ordinary. The dish consisted of undercooked peppers, a bunch of overcooked onions, and no other vegetables. We were left wondering why it was so difficult to properly cook some carrots, broccoli, peas, or mushrooms."

"This restaurant has a strong sense of community and they are introducing a new vegan menu, which the man at the counter showed me over the phone. The food is flavorful and delicious, different from other Indian cuisine I have tried. We ordered Chana samosa (large portion for those who are hungry), papdi chat, vada pav, and samosa misal, and shared everything between the two of us. The total came to around £15 and we were satisfied with the portion size. I highly recommend this place. Please note that seating is limited, but we did not have any issues finding a seat and they also offer takeout."

"I've can't remember tasting such delicious, fresh and wonderfully spiced food. As another review on here says, I honestly can't wait to go back. The service is friendly and relaxed, we stayed chatting for a while after finishing our meal and were not hurried out. I went with 2 friends and we all ordered a vegetarian curry although we are not all vegetarian. We chose a coconut flavoured curry, coconut rice, pilau rice, tomato and black bean curry, and an aubergine based curry. I wanted to know the ingredients and made a note of the Indian names of the curries although not listing here. We all commented on the exceptional quality."

"rough food and poor service. arranged a dosa, saag aloo and a masala chai. the dosa was too thick and tasteless, worst dosa I ever had. the sauce was tasteless. the saag aloo was a salty goop without taste. the chai was okay, but tasted like a tee or package mixture, nothing special. the service was terrible that we have collected our order and it took 10 minutes to give us the chai. we paid for three chai and only one. the attempt to explain this to the service, the man was like a debate with a brick wall, no quantity sting or clearly speaking would allow him to understand that we paid for three and got one. at the end we gave up. in any case will not return to this place and they will not pay their control."
