"We ordered appetizers, the Butch Block Ribs for our main course, and a bottle of wine. Everything was fantastic. The portions were generous and the meal was delicious and served hot. The food here is always good. The service, however, can be hit or miss. Keaton provided great service on this occasion. He was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. We started with our appetizers and drinks outside before moving inside for the main course. Based on this experience, we will definitely be back in the next few weeks."

"We dined at Miller and Carter for our Valentine's Day meal. The food was simply amazing, we ordered the rare filet mignon and it was absolutely sensational. Our appetizers and dessert were also delicious, and the Valentine's Day special offer provided great value for money. The reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I received multiple emails and texts reminding me of the dress code, but it was not enforced at the restaurant. We noticed patrons wearing t-shirts, hoodies, and sports trainers in the bar area. While we do not mind a relaxed dress code, it is disappointing when it is not upheld by the establishment."

"Booked on 8th Oct for Festive menu due to weather arrived 4 40 pm checked in then waited in bar. Lady arrived to tell me my booking was to late for festive menu.! And that I had booked A la Carte Service. Food and service was good but should have either cancelled my booking rather than say I had made mistake when booking although both staff members knew booking was for Festive menu.Final insult had drink in bar area after meal rather than move as cold night. Wanted 2nd drink bar till was closed at 9.30 although restaurant was open till 11 I believe. Spent in region of £130. Very disappointed. "The decor inside this restaurant is beautiful and the toilets are very clean. The waiter that welcomed us was polite, helpful and accommodated changes well whereas the waitress didn 't even crack a smile and had poor customer service skills. Asking a customer are you done? before taking their plate is so unprofessional, try would you like me to take your plate? . Her energy was unsettling after we flagged some issues with our food/bill. We were charged for a side of rice that hadn 't actually arrived with the meal but this was easily amended when settling the bill. 2 cocktails were made without alcohol as a mistake and they were courteous and let us have those drinks free of charge. This was appreciated. The atmosphere was calm but would have been better if there was some Turkish music playing in the background while dining to make it a more authentic dining experience. My lamb saute meal arrived warm and disappointingly didn 't taste of much despite having a 'special sauce '. My partners lamb shish was quite chewy. The rice was lovely and fluffy, nice chips and the Tabouleh was refreshing. The passionfruit mojito was sweet and delicious but tasted like a mocktail so we had to ask for more alcohol to be added. Thankyou for the experience but unfortunately I wouldn 't be rushing back here."

"Great restaurant and service.we had finished our meal and my wife left at least 3/4 of her fillet steak as it was a little rare (asked for medium) we didn’t complain as my wife thought she should have asked for medium well. The waitress collected the plates and asked if the meal was ok... we didn’t complain. She still thought she would check the steak and thought it was medium rare. The manager came over and reduced the bill accordingly as he also thought the steak was under cooked. I must say very proactive customer service noticing that maybe the returning plates were not ideal. We even said we were fine paying full... but the manager insisted the steak was undercooked and not what was asked. Great service and treatment .... really appreciated it and as usual I enjoyed my steak so much !!! The beef dripping gravy is the boom ! My lord it was nice Thanks team chester"

"First off, I would just like to thank the incredible staff and the chefs for an amazing night. Me and my wife come to this place frequently as we just love the atmosphere and how lovely everyone is and today we visited on Valentine’s Day, even though it was so busy, we still had an incredible experience and was looked after very well. The food, incredible! For starters pulled pork doughnut, one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Main was of course a sirloin steak medium rare and that was cooked to perfection and dessert was an Eaton mess and it was divine! Me and my partner would also like to shout out Emilia! What an incredible server she is! Always making sure we are okay and always bringing a smile to our table! Our experience wouldn’t be the same without her! She goes above and beyond for us and for that we truly appreciate her. If you have not tried this place out, please do! You will not be disappointed! 5* as always and much love to everyone there!"

"I've taken a birthday dinner here. our waiter, kall, was very pleasant and informative, did his best to please us as customers. at 7 months pregnant, I was pleased to see a series of "soft dicks" as I fought to order suitable drinks while eating; I am usually left with a limonade or water, so it was great to feel a little more special on my birthday. we had the share plate to begin, which was warm, but I think this is due to the time we have taken our net after the arrival: afteros were light with lots of sauces, the garlic caabatta was beautiful and the wings were the real star of the show, sticky and juicy. kall then cleaned our table and asked us if we enjoyed our starter. my bistro steak was cooked for absolute perfection and I recommend for every customer. my partner enjoyed his t bone steak and above all, the filled bone mark side dish should be incredibly soft, melt in mouth and how pulled pork should be. Unfortunately we haven't got a place for dessert, but I will definitely return to explore more what this fantastic restaurant has to offer. thank you for making my birthday so wonderful!"

"it was really not disappointed. we have never been to somewhere that I would consider fantasies before, so we had no idea what to expect, but we had a nice time that was amazing and so fill! the steak was worth the money! the only thing I would say that we had not had so much fun was the salatkeil with the steak and that we sat so close to other people in such a big restaurant, it would be nice to have a choice of something further away, but these things really did not change how much we enjoyed our visit."

"After a few years we decided to try out miller and carter again. We had previously visited with family and had a less than ideal experience. Fortunately this is no longer the case and after being served by Antonio and then Kasey we had a fantastic shared butchers block. "we visited early juli and had a wonderful meal in the late evening. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was busy, but not crowded; they will book as early as possible to get the time they want. I had the 50-day old black angus sirloin steak and it was amazing, highly recommended if they didn't try it as it's good value comparatively on the 30-day selection. the desert was also delicious. a wonderful dinner and we would visit again."

"a very nice restaurant. good ambiente and comfortable sitting. food is delicious and fresh. more reasonable price. the suppenbase is incredibly good, it seems that they fry the black bones before cooking. but it tastes like they're making it on the way of the Chinese instead of Japanese. I never taste a soup in japan. the only disappointment is deep roasted food, it is too oily. I think the cook is not from japan. Eat taste good, just not authentic."

"The seating for 8 and a pushchair was not suitable, I had specified we needed room for a pushchair when I booked as the baby was only 4 months but it wasn’t suitable so I asked to be moved which was done straight away without any fuss. "Oneself went to this restaurant for a business meal, granted the atmosphere and beverages were nice to an extent, the overall heat of the restaurant was overwhelming, as such myself and friends had to consistently go outside to cool down. Alongside this the cooking of the food was horrendous. 5 of the 11 steaks we ordered were undercooked. Mine for example, i asked for medium rare and it comes out blue. As an avid steak fan i can categorically state that the food was undercooked. I did indeed ask for a re-fire and when it was returned to me it had not been done, this was after a 20 minute wait as well. For the price i am paying i expect quality, not simple fast food. Lastly was the extortionate service charge. Why should this be expected??? The service was quick and brief, definitely not worth paying for. If i wanted to tip i would, but i should not be expected too."
