"I had booked a few weeks ago a table for Friday, 27th dec. and they had not the reason to let me know that this restaurant was closed over the Christmas / New Year's break. even more shocking is that I received an e-mail about 3 days before my booking to check if I was still on Friday, 27. dez has fed from whom I confirmed that our booking has still happened. I thought everything was in order, I pulled my two older elders in rain for a mile from edinburgh center to this restaurant, while I was thinking about the recommended food in this restaurant from a colleague in the month before. only to find a note on the kilted kitchen entrance door that they were closed over the festive time. we were all drowned and I was completely embarrassed. what a waste of time at our weekend trip to edinburgh. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, but to tell them this disgusting story. whatever the reason for the closure is, they have a duty to inform their customers that they have to cancel a booking."
