"Disgusting DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE my fiance just ordered us a takeaway on Christmas eve as a treat £17.90 wasted. 2 peices of southern fried chicken and chips which Is hard and looks old completely dry the chicken that is on is old and dry the outside is hard as a rock it's been overcooked the chips are cold wet and taste old Hawaii burger with BBQ sauce Soggy and disgusting slithering in oil and BBQ watery sauce chips are old and hard Called up spoke to manager who was loud wouldn't let my fiance get a word in edgeways told us food made fresh yeah right whatever pal worst place for food in consett and no customer service take your money but don't care about after care want to be ashamed serving food like that Please do not order from here go to somewhere else it's that bad I'm worried about been ill off it Going to report them to trading standards."

"I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and it arrived 40 minutes earlier than expected. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with the chicken wings cooked to perfection. We ordered the BBQ basic chicken and double cheeseburger, adding bacon and mushrooms with stuffed crust. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you for not disappointing!"

"Looked online at the menu and this place seemed like a jack of all trades. Doner kebabs to korma 's, pizzas to Peshawar naan........I ordered from there as its a stones throw away from my mums. Thought what the hell and ordered. Phoned them and asked how long it would be, told 20 mins. Went to collect food and guy couldn 't see order. Spoke to his pal and then found a note pad with my order. 7 minutes later the food arrives for me. My naan bread was more like a garlic pizza bread which was crispier than a deep fried won ton. My mum said her chips were hard, more hard than a slab of concrete. Overall, very disappointed in the quality."

"The chicken is good but the service is extremely poor. Got served by a woman who got our order wrong and then overcharged me. When I confronted her she said it was a price change I said that I would pay the price on the menu shown. Will never come again. Most shocking service I 've ever seen. Don 't even understand simple english."

However, nearly two hours later, the restaurant was closed and my food had not arrived. My calls went unanswered and I am extremely dissatisfied. I will be calling for a refund when they reopen."

"Family meal out. Definitely a hidden gem. It was absolutely delicious. Everything is freshly cooked to order. Food was mouthwatering and very well presented. Had a few takeaways from here and in my time but sitting in the restaurant is a different ball game. You get all the pleasant aromas of the food cooking. Premises are very clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Great for kids too as there's a kids menu and there's always pizza for the older kids!! Definitely be back in the future and fingers crossed at the awards. Good luck"
