"The staff were ready to take orders promptly. My pasta dish arrived without the main ingredient, which was odd. It all went downhill from there. After the main course we waited at least minutes before we were offered a dessert menu. Then waited again for someone to notice we were ready to settle the bill. We had Tesco boost vouchers and they had used up both the vouchers even when the meal did not equal to the full amount of the voucher value, and after I had specifically advised the waitress I only wanted to redeem When I queried this and asked for the voucher to be taken off the bill and I would settle the difference and just a confirmation that the voucher hadn't been redeemed the waitress was quite rude and begrudgingly gave me a print out. At no point were we rude to the staff and dissapointed we were treated this way as a paying customer. Needless to say we will not be returning."

"We come here regularly, and we are never disappointed. The food is always cooked well and so so tasty!! I have yet to find nachos that taste better. We’ve never had a bad experience with staff either, in fact today Sami went above and beyond to help us even though it was unusually busy for the time of day we came in. Sami attended to everything we needed with a warmth and friendliness that made us feel at ease. When he found out we were short on time he made sure we had everything we needed and served us swiftly, again making it seem like nothing was too much for him. We love Chiquito’s, and service like Sami’s will always keep on coming back!"

"Very bad service. It was obvious they wanted to close early. Bought out our mains when still eating starters. Turned a table of people away when the restaurant was empty. Our Waitrose was outside smoking and on her phone, when she came back in we had to call her over and she cleared our plates with her coat on. We asked for coffees but were told they had switched the machine off as they wanted to close because they ‘didn’t have any customers’ this was on a Saturday night. Very disappointed."

"Ask is an Italian Restaurant situated in Northampton town centre. It is my favourite place to eat. It offers many pizza and pasta dishes which are so full of flavour. My favourite is the salmon pasta which is absolutely gorgeous. The range of pizza is really good too and you can add extra toppings. I have liked all the Ask restaurants I have been in mainly because the food is so delicious and not too expensive, but also because they have a modern feel to them. It always looks so clean and fresh and the service at Northampton has always been really good. There is a small bar area where you can have a drink and wait for a table although it does sometimes get a bit busy and crowded if there are a lot of people waiting. They do not book tables during the week unless it is for a group of people. The restaurant at Northampton is quite small, although it has some quirky little extra rooms which are nice and intimate and unusual. Nice if you want to sit somewhere a bit quieter or if there is a large group. If you like Italian food then Ask is the place to go as it is delicious food and a nice atmosphere. It is always my first choice of places to eat."

"I went to ask in Reigate on Valentine’s Day with my other half and it wasn’t our best experience and most likely will be not returning. The staff clearly didn’t know what tables they were waiting on as we were ask at least times by different staff to order which we had already done. We also ordered olives to our table and they didn’t come till our mains were there which obviously we wanted them before.I was very full up and couldn’t finish my desert when the waitress came over she looked at me funny clearly because I didn’t finish my desert. I said I was full up and she said in a tone ‘ or did you not like it’ which I think is very rude and not how you speak to customers."

"This was our first time at an Ask restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive. The service was relatively quick, but not rushed, and the food was absolutely delicious. The children's meal option was great, offering 3 courses and a babychino for just under £7, while the adult main menu was very reasonably priced. As a family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child), we enjoyed a 3-course meal for nearly £60. We would definitely return if in the area and will keep an eye out for other Ask restaurants in different locations."

"I recently dined at this restaurant and was highly disappointed. The prices were steep, almost £20 per dish and was definitely not worth it. I ordered both mushroom risotto and spaghetti with king prawns. The risotto was incredibly salty to the point where it felt like I was eating pure salt. When I requested a replacement, they took our shared plates, mixed them together, added water, and reheated the same dish, which didn't improve the flavor at all. Not to be mentioned, the king prawns in the spaghetti were tiny and there were a few bugs flying around in the restaurant. I do not recommend this restauran! "I hope we just visited on a day when things weren’t running smoothly. The restaurant wasn’t very busy when we arrived, and we had planned for an hour and a half before our theater reservation. We didn’t order any starters, except for my granddaughter, who was supposed to get crudités and dough sticks as part of her kids' meal. We had to ask for those after her pizza had already arrived. The garlic bread and zucchini fries came before our main courses, even though we had requested everything to be served together. We also waited a long time for the staff to take our dessert order, only to be informed that one of our choices was out of stock. After another long wait for the desserts to arrive, we were left with only five minutes to eat them before heading to the theater. The setting is wonderful; it's just a shame the overall experience didn't match."

"The vegan menu options at this restaurant appear to be more restricted compared to previous visits, however, the dishes that are available are quite flavorful and carefully crafted. I tried the green pizza and it was delicious. The use of stickers indicating vegan options is reassuring. I am torn between giving this restaurant a 3-star rating for the limited choices or a 4-star rating for the exceptional quality of the dishes they offer."

"the personal that is very friendly at my visit to ask. they were especially friendly to my 3 year old companion who was not in good mood when we arrived. the coloring in it, although thanks to the staff. large children's menu here at a good price. so many thanks to the Thursday staff. I'm sorry about the chaos we left you with. there are a series of steps to get into this restaurant from the street level, so I am not sure that this would be a must for everyone with mobility problems. but I am sure that the restaurant will have advances for wheelchair access. good menu choice, fast, convenient, good priced, friendly and very clean. thank you ask."

"We were given a voucher from my fiancé’s dad so decided to book ASK last week. We sat down and then were offered another table with a window. Although cramped it had a view so no major issues. The service was very slow, the restaurant was busy and we were not expecting quick service. Although when several tables including a table of 8 had their mains before us (although we had ordered before) we thought they had forgotten us. One of the waitresses did come to apologise. The food was ok, we had the cheese fondu and pumpkin arachni to start which was nice. We both had pizza for main which was rather bland and the desserts (chocolate gnocchi and honeycomb cheesecake) were ok. Overall I will probably give ASK a miss for future bookings and try other places in Exeter."

"Service you could not fault : we were seated promptly, orders taken as soon as we were ready and food arrived quickly with a smooth transition between courses. The winner of the night was Caccia e Pepe a simple dish but excellently done (with a generous heap of truffle cream, of course). Pizza and starters were all enjoyable. Very reasonable prices (especially considering the location). Would highly recommend. Note: we had booked but they were taking walk ins, there was a bit of a queue the whole time we were there (mid week dinner), but turnover is pretty quick."

"The Kew Ask Italian restaurant is our favorite. It's a shame it's 200 miles away from home, but it's worth the drive! The staff is friendly and attentive, but not overly intrusive. The food is delicious and the noise level is just right, not too loud but not too quiet like a library. Highly recommended. This was the third time we booked through OpenTable and the third time the restaurant did not have our reservation. I have now learned to call them the day after making a reservation to confirm availability, and usually end up booking directly with Ask. I have calculated the full cocktail price cocktail so think about going ready to pay for such or ready to negotiate for a cheaper price when they order. "One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever visited. For those of us who aren't familiar with some of the more exotic Italian dishes, the menu can be a bit overwhelming. However, even the more familiar dishes are incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is clean, well-lit, and has a modern ambiance. It's fascinating to watch the chefs at work in the open kitchen; they conduct themselves with intelligence and professionalism. The staff is charming and friendly while maintaining a respectful distance, allowing guests to fully enjoy their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant – the food is fantastic, very satisfying, and a pleasure to eat there. My only critique is that the bowl for the profiterole is tall and narrow, making it difficult for the profiterole to stay put on the flat chocolate plate shown in the picture. Unfortunately, it rolled off, but it was too delicious to be a major issue. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining experience!"
