"really nice restaurant, friendly and efficient staff and good eating! super comfortable to moxy hotel where we were. I ordered the margarita and the Gnocchi bowl and my man got the double pepperoni pizza. the drink was very strong without being all tequila. the gnocchi were well cooked and the buffalo mozzarella was amazing. the only smallest thing is that I think that the double paprika pizza could come with even more pfefferoni to better match its names, but I don't draw points for it. in any case recommend!"

"We went for a family meal last Friday. Unfortunately there was a series of power cuts in the area which blacked out most of the nearby businesses, but somehow The Highland carried on! The food was lovely and served with good humour from the staff under very difficult conditions. We were even given a bottle of wine as we left! Highly recommended for food, service and value but slightly lacking in ambience."

"My wife and I had starters and mains here, a glass of wine for her and a beer for me. One bottle of water for the table and some olives. This came to pounds. Firstly the food was very poorly presented and had a very cafe feel about it. Secondly the service was not unpleasant but just inept. The mains were brought to the table whilst we were still eating starters (and we hadn’t dragged our feet), the starters were never taken away and no new cutlery came for the mains so we had to reuse. Overall it wasn’t worth half what they were charging,"

"Newly opened we were warmly welcomed and shown to an excellent table in the window area. First impression was the tables are well spaced so private discussion is easily achieved. The menu concentrates on fish although meat dishes are available. There were 5 of us dining and we were treated to some superb cooking with not a single complaint from my normally critical colleagues who ordered a variety of dishes. All the fish, whether Bream, Sea Bass or Giant Prawns were cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was muted as, having just opened to the public, it is not widely known yet. This will change as the standard of cooking and service were outstanding and I would unhesitatingly recommend it."

"If you just want a quick bite before a theatre production then Limoncello is perfect. The Service was ok but lacked any interaction or warmth, it was literally brought and taken away plates. We asked for water, we were given warm tap water with no ice which was not the nicest tasting. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese that arrived resembling more like charcoal around the edges. It was completely burnt and obviously so. I was surprised that they would serve that. I did not complain but simply ate the middle bit and left the rest. The pizza I had was delicious. If like me, you like dessert, then I am afraid this is not the place for you. We asked for the dessert menu and were told flatly that they do not do dessert otherwise they would have offered a menu. With that, we paid and left feeling a little but short-changed. It was an experience but we will not be returning for another."

"I went with my Italian woman to ciao napoli to lunch in the last summer. the food was excellent and the service was also excellent. I want to go back. I was very surprised by the restaurant, it was my first time there. it is very atmospheric in an old building in a small room with beautiful old wood panel. it reminded me of the old town in edinburgh. a hidden gem in gray granite of the godless."

"Lovely meal with the family last week at Regazzi. We visited after hearing from a friend the new owner is Mido. We highly recommend the mozzarella sticks, lamb chops starter, pollo funghi crema and the pollo milanese. Food was fresh and delicious! It was also nice to see the chefs interested in how much we enjoyed the food. The montepulciano d’abruzzo red wine went down a treat too! Great customer service in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit!!"

"I stumbled about 8 weeks ago in la golosa, on the way to a load in hampstead. it rained cats and dogs, and I had randomly my whippet coby with me at the time, desperate a coffee to me, not him! we had just come from the heath, at a point where I usually did not run with him, and la golosa was totally welcome for me and especially for him. special tasty and water. he knows now where la golosa is and when we go from the whitestone pond, he takes the lead! coffee is illy and the staff is a joy. support this caffe. they and their mutt will be thrilled."

"Went in there on Saturday around 8:45pm with my mother and girlfriend. Had a main course each and salad, wine, beer. The food was nice but at 9:40 when we hadn't finished eating the waitress started taking our plates and told us they were closing soon. I said she should have told us that before letting us order 85 euro worth of food. She then arrived back with the bill, and the chef started making stupid loud cat noises out to where we were sitting in an obvious attempt to **** us off and get us to leave. If I was their boss I'd sack the lot of them. I've never complained in a restaurant in my life but we were extremely pissed off with how we were treated then"

"Myself and two friends were looking for somewhere to eat last night (it was a saturday) and stumbled upon Pulcinella. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they found a table for us, and the managed was very welcoming. The waiters were all very polite and efficient with one of taking a photo for us as we couldn't manage to get all of us in the photo. We all ordered our 2 courses and when the food came I have to say it was some of the best I've tasted. I had bruschetta for a starter, and it was so fresh and bursting with tomato flavour. For my main I had a pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten in my life My two friends also thoroughly enjoyed their food too with everyone complimenting how good it was. The atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect, it's very homey and welcoming. I think it is a great all-around place that would be perfect for romantic dates and also for family meals and whatnot. All in all, I know the next time I visit Glasgow, this will be one of my go-to places to eat"

"We can only recommend the Ristorante Alitalia at Hammerbrookstraße 93, directly opposite the S Hammerbrook South. We'll definitely be back. We were 3 people, everyone had ordered something else and we were completely enthusiastic. The Rumpsteak is better by lengths than in the Block House, the Penne Arrabiata was super tasty and the pork medals were also great. The red wine Bella Primotiva was worth a sin."

"There was a friend. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, only the price is a bit expensive. I had salmon as head and then Nutella Profiterole for Dessert. Salmon is perfectly cooked. Hardly cooked without destroying the fine texture of the salmon. The side plate with cherry tomatoes, mussels and potatoes with butter and sea salt never makes the taste boring. Nutella profiteroles has a cookie on vanilla ice cream on a freshly baked fluffy cake. With freshly roasted hazelnuts with a small cup of hot chocolate to drip on your dessert. If you eat together with all portions, the crisp cookie provides bite texture, vanilla ice cream gives the sweet and cold feeling, immediately follow through hot fluffy cakes, roasted hazelnuts and chocolate liquid. The perfect balance of hot and cold feeling of ice and fresh baking cake gives the tongue in luck. The sweetness of vanilla ice cream is balanced with slightly salty biscuits, so it never gets boring to eat every bite. The waiters and waiters couldn't be more beautiful. My friends record wasn't what he wanted. She sent it right back to the kitchen and kept us informed about how long it would take to make us feel comfortable. Overall, great friendly service, and delicious food. In the end, only a high bill comes."

"I chose this restaurant as the menu wasn't too expensive and is located within easy reach of the Albert Hall. I would say our waiter James seemed to be having a bad day and really struggled to smile. Cheer up James, it might never happen! I was surprised by the 13.5% service charge which is the highest I've seen but perhaps that's a sign of the times. Would I go again? Well I couldn't argue with the quality of the tiramisu."

"This restaurant is insulting to a nation by claiming to be a neighborhood Italian restaurant. My mother is Italian, and a key characteristic of such places is consistently good food, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Al Bacio falls short in all areas. The service is terrible, unfriendly, and rude. The food ingredients are either frozen or not fresh, and the quality of cooking is subpar. The overall experience is quite disappointing, resembling the sight of a sick old dog that needs to be put out of its misery."

"A meal at Giorgio leaves you believing that the world is a better place. Giorgio, the man himself, and his staff play the perfect hosts warm, friendly and attentive. The best olives are to be found here; they are complimentary but I wouldn't mind spending a small fortune on them. What keeps me coming back though is the heavenly crab spaghetti think generous amount of fresh crab meat, al dente spaghetti, all soaked in the best olive oil and flavoured with fragrant chillis and garlic. The world is a better place if all restaurants are like Giorgio."
