"We went for a family meal last Friday. Unfortunately there was a series of power cuts in the area which blacked out most of the nearby businesses, but somehow The Highland carried on! The food was lovely and served with good humour from the staff under very difficult conditions. We were even given a bottle of wine as we left! Highly recommended for food, service and value but slightly lacking in ambience."

Went with a group of girlfriends on Thursday. The set menu was excellent value and the staff were courteous, friendly and fun. Highly recommend!

We went with seven people for dinner and opted for the Xmas menu. Service was friendly and efficient and general atmosphere was very good. Food is fine.

Amazing steak, perfectly cooked as were the vegetables. Such a shame the Waiter got the orders slightly wrong on not one, but two items. Great food, lovely old school type steak house. Prices to match.

We have been to the Highland Restaurant 5 times now and the food is always cooked to perfection. Service is fantastic without being over fussy or intrusive. Actually have nothing bad to say about this restaurant!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!

I did not like it here we booked in advance and when we arrived our name table was switched and we were moved to the smallest two seater table In the room and the people that got our corner four seat table were two senior men . This was clearly discrimination
