"We didn’t see the ‘check in’ screen just inside the door so went to one of the serving counters and the staff ignored us. When we returned to the door, a member of staff who was dealing with another customer, tapped on the screen, said the ‘f’ word under his breath then marched off again. We got taken to our table and were warned there would be a 40 min delay on food. When we placed drinks orders the lady seemed to get really confused over just four drinks. We ordered sourdough bread to eat while we waited for mains. The butter was frozen. We had to enquire where our food was after waiting an hour and miraculously it came straight out. I ordered fish and chips and the chips were brown and not very special. Nobody came round to check if the food was ok. When we finished eating nobody came to clear the plates…despite multiple staff strolling past, stopping, looking at our empty plates and walking off. None of the staff smiled or made you feel welcome. There seemed to be lots of staff milling about but no organisation. I had booked the table for a meet up with old friends I don’t see often and was very disappointed."
