"Disappointed. I was in PRETO about two weeks ago on Sunday. This was my last time! I was a regular customer until the last visit...Food was bad, I had to ask waiters about the meat , because they completely forgot about my table. I was waiting so long to get some meat what made me so stress already. ALL STUFF just disappear...They were laughing, joking with each other. Completely forgot why they were there.They was rude. I had to call them, and ask to cleaned my table and offered dessert for me. "I should clarify now that I'm actually a vegetarian. We were visiting for a family birthday, everyone else are meat eaters, so they've very much informed this review. The premise is you pay a fixed price, you can order as many sides as you want and then the servers bring the meat on gabbing skewers and carve at the table, you take as much or as little as you want all in the price. There is a lot of meat on offer, pork, chicken, steak...the list goes on. Apparently all well cooked and flavoured. Side dishes range from salads, cheesy dough balls, fries, bean stews. Lots of good veggie stuff, the only problem was the veggie meal is and should include a lasagne, but they didn't have any! Didn't go hungry, but not really the point. Kids menu is good value, for kids up to no matter how much they eat!"

"Preto Perfection. Last weekend was our introduction to your wonderful restaurant at Putney, courtesy of our son 's Brazilian partner, and I have to say I have never been so astounded by the natural ambience of all the staff to provide the most amazing dining experience we have ever encountered. Michelin 'starred ' restaurants/Chefs can certainly provide some interesting food but as yet I have not discovered one that has the genuine affection to all customers the moment one walks through the door until you leave and even then still insist in ensuring the visit and experience has been as memorable as it could be, and yes we have dined at some famously named restaurants. Last night was my second experience and I would not have considered it possible to improve on the first but you guys did it. To be greeted by name and dined and entertained as we were is a unique gift you must culture forever and your restaurant 's will always be full, Well done and thank you again to ALL the staff. Just a comment to the couple of people that were 'disappointed with Putney ' then I would also state you must be reviewing the wrong restaurant!"

"Me and my friends are huge fans of Preto in general. We travelled to the Queensway restaurant as our local branch was recently closed. As much as we love the food, the service and overall experience at Queensway was awful. We had missing side orders, waited an awfully long time for our plates, it was impossible to speak to a waiter as no one ever came over to us, even after finishing our meal, nobody came to clear our plates so we could enjoy a few more drinks (we then decided against the drinks as we felt we were being ignored) we were then told we had to pay the 12.5% service charge even though we had 0 amount of positive service. We won’t be visiting Queensway preto again, we will have to find another branch to dine at next time."

"As a wheelchair user I get very nervous about going to new places, accessibility was great and I was made to feel welcomed within the first 5 seconds of being there. All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, it feels very authentic. Atmosphere was great and I cannot stress enough how amazing the food is! Every single one of the meats are cooked to such a high standard and there's a great choice of sides and drinks. We sat by the bar and every cocktail that was made was made with real effort and care. Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back."

"I was recommended to go to Preto because my teenagers would love it. The menu is very simple, everything is included in the grill, and we were offered delicious sides and desserts (although a bit rich for my taste). We used a voucher code which made the meal very reasonable, but I was not made aware (and didn't notice) the discretionary 12.5% added to the bill. I appreciate the hard work of the staff, who make the restaurant welcoming. The space was largely empty and not very cozy, but it seemed a bit unfair not to have been informed about the discretionary charge. Other restaurants usually add the charge at the point of paying for the food, with your consent. This left a negative impression after what was otherwise a very tasty meal."

"I went to this location with my guide dog and was given a hard time by an employee and later by the manager. Upon entering the restaurant, I was asked to provide documentation for my dog, which is illegal under the Equal Rights Act, and my girlfriend calmly explained that no documentation is required for assistance dogs. After we sat at our table, the manager came over and was extremely rude and confrontational. Her sister is apparently a guide dog trainer, so she was well aware that I was blind and of what a guide dog is, yet still felt the need to harass my girlfriend and I, telling us that we were wrong about documentation not being required to bring my dog into the restaurant. She only relented after calling her boss and being shown the laws by my girlfriend. At no point did she try to educate herself before confronting me. Being confronted by an employee is bad enough, but the manager is supposed to be educated, and given her prior knowledge of guide dogs, there is really no excuse for her ignorance but more importantly her clear disrespect towards people with disabilities. I would hope one would think that someone with an actual guide dog would be aware of their own rights. Instead she was happy to challenge me and ruin my experience until someone else told her she was wrong. Other reviews call out how nice this manager was but apparently not if you're someone with a disability. All customers including minorities deserve to be treated with dignity and respect at all times. While I appreciate the gesture of apology of covering our meal, the damage was done, as after dealing with this issue time and time again there is an emotional toll that it takes. I will consider removing this review if I receive a formal apology from this manager and Nando's corporate, and if I have confirmation that training has been implemented across all Nando's locations. Until then, I think that people looking to dine here should be aware of what happened."
