"I reserved a table on the basis of the convenient location and the blurb written by the restaurant on here, and I would offer up the following warnings. Firstly, the restaurant is attached to a hotel and the menu (at the time of visiting) consisted of very lacklustre steak, chops, chicken, fish and burger options. That’s bland, uninspiring and really not what you’d expect given the competitive nature of the London restaurant scene. Secondly, the wine list was similarly disappointing and the place was practically empty only a couple of families staying in the hotel with no atmosphere, so I made polite excuses and left. The staff all seemed nice enough so I certainly wouldn’t hold the anodyne menu against them, but the restaurant is unlikely to draw in people from outside the hotel with these choices and needs to offer something more than characterless gastropub fare if it wants to be remotely busy. Oh, and the restaurant’s description of itself on here is a triumph of marketing and wishful thinking over reality!"
