"More Farrow Ball than 14th century, however this establishment is smart and well run. With its nooks and crannies, you can soon find a table for your intimate nibbles. My partner and I, plus small dog, had Sunday lunch there. Although of course we could have had the usual roast dinner, I preferred to have the usual fish chips, whilst my partner had the sea bream. Both meals were spot on and couldn't have been better. The bar had an array of splendid ales and I chose a pint of Butty Bach, which, I am informed means, Little Friend in Welsh. The staff were all courteous and attentive and I would thoroughly recommend The Church Inn. I would add, that as we ate, there was a large, reserved table, waiting for its diners. Whilst it was waiting, several people came in hoping to dine and were told they were fully booked. I just hope that they did eventually show, otherwise it's a big loss for the owners. Take heed when next you book a table!"
