"We went to this restaurant as a large family after a nice day out for Eid. We usually eat at Turkish restaurants and ordered a mix of BBQ, doner and very overpriced kids meals (nuggets and chips £8.95? . Compared to other restaurants, the appetisers were very small and four adults having to share one very small portions and the salad had no tomato and very dry. We had to constantly ask for things from very uninterested waiters, including Turkish bread and water. When the food arrived: the adana kebab were very small, literally half the size of other restaurants. The 2 skewers put together would equal one elsewhere. the lamb shish only 4 small cubes? very small portions of chicken doner for THAT price all the BBQ meals did not have anything next to them apart from the meat and chips no salad, no onion, no grilled tomato Also, the menu says each meal has mushroom and this was not provided. To top it off, we were given a piece of sweet and asked if we wanted tea and we said yes. A minute later, they came back to tell us there is no tea and would take 25 minutes and we felt like we were being kicked out of the restaurant with the way it was said. Since when does it take that long to make tea? When we mentioned to the waiter, the reply was 'I gave you more than enough ' This was an awful experience and ruined a very enjoyable day for us. This is not cheap and we will not recommend this to anyone."

"lokkanta serves Turkish food, but more along the street food sorte. do not misunderstand what they do, they do quite well, but do not even expect a chic Turkish meal here. what is available is similar to what they can see on a Lebanese menu with different names and spicy. they do a lot of grilled meat and donators (think shawarma) we got a plate of meze hummus, a yogurt dip, tomato-based salsa and some well maintained sweet salad with thin strips of lavender as brot free while we waited for our food. the lammbarsch was a beautiful, mildly flavored meat in a beautiful crumb outside the bakery pack. think about it as a cross between a samosa and an early role. for the net I ordered the lamm iskander kebab doner / shawarma slices lamb on a bed of crisp fried brot squares with tomato sauce and beautiful thick yogurt and a side offer of garlic sauce and her clobular chili sauce. bruder ordered the lamming aprons that came with a small side salad on a bed of larger korn cousin. he loved the aromen. I ordered Turkish tee, which served as only black tee (no minze, no apple taste only in a traditional Turkish shaped tea glass) bruder had the ayran (yoghurt drink), which was prepacked, but he found it very refreshing. service was very sweet and friendly. the staff always smiled slightly. they know the menu and can help them meet a choice when they need it. we were quite filled with this meal, but had to end with baklava. their baked layers are much thinner than most baklava, which I have tried in this city almost filmy, not too too too zucker. Personally, I like a bit more crunchy of the nuts in my baklava, but that was a more refined version and therefore the nuts were really finely crushed. we also have 2 pieces lokum (Turkish joy) free with our bill and it was so good that next time I order the lokum instead of the baklava."
