"We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ashford Castle. Gerald greeted us at the entrance, invited us to enjoy the gardens before escorting us to the restaurant. On the way he pointed out highlights of the castle and offered to take our photo. Shane in the restaurant was friendly, courteous and attentive. Impeccable seamless service from staff with a genuine interest in our welfare despite the fact we were not staying overnight. A highlight of our month long trip in Ireland. Priceless experience! Thank you!"

"We arrived early for our booked, expected to have to wait, but we were seated straight away, no problems. Not the cheapest meals, but reasonably priced for what it was, we had steak for £20. Service was excellent, nice atmosphere."

"We went on Mothers day which we know is a particularly time and feel that sitting down and no one coming over for 15 minutes was poor. we went and got a waiter to be asked what we wanted to order when he came over. we had no menus and no drinks. These were ordered and although took a while did not mind. We waited over a hour and a half for our food and then was told that there had been a mix up. we got the 7 meals of which all were warm not hot. We sent 3 back and they took away a steak which never came back The 3 dinners came back as they left just being put in the microwave which then made the beef not edible. We only really had 2 good dinners out the 7 and to be fair we only paid for 2. considering the restaurant was not full up the service was shocking and the quality of the dinners was really poor. Would not recommend at all ?? at the end no one even appologised, poor customer service"

"It has taken a while to write this review as we were Married at Salford Hall on 29th June 2023. Well the only word that springs to mind is PERFECT !! From our appointment with Lizzy Ops Mgr. who sold this amazing venue to us, then handed over to Keeleigh events Manager/Wedding Planner the whole process has been a joy. Keeleigh was available whenever required, putting us at ease and absorbing our needs. On the day the whole Team were amazing. From the ceremony right through to the evening Keeleigh kept everything flowing perfectly. Venue, Ceremony, Food/Wedding Reception etc was top draw and we are still pinching ourselves with the memories of our amazingly beautiful DAY !!
