"As someone who is lactose intolerant, it can be challenging to find suitable options. However, while many might roll their eyes at requests for lactose-free meals, the staff here quickly provided me with a customized menu to accommodate my needs. For £10, we enjoyed a breakfast that looked just like the pictures, complete with hot drinks, and we ordered some toast on the side. One thing to note: they weren't open at 8:50 AM, but I can't wait to return for that fantastic breakfast!"

"I was a bit comprehensible to come here after reading all the negative reviews, including on tripadvisor, but it was pouring with rain, and my friend beat it as a medium spot. it was really ok! yes, the place was practically empty on...a Sunday afternoon, with Chinese couples sitting there for hours, was very loud, telephoned, screaming in the recipient, it was very unpleasant and sad staff was young and not intervened. I expect a gentle one to be appropriate for the others among such circumstances, at least after half an hour or more, to be tortured. I mean, we couldn't hear each other talking, and there were 4 tables away from us. fortunately, eating was good if not something special wow or italian, we both went for tataki grilled thunfisch and it was very tasty (but not grilled I don't think only panfried to stay pink as we asked). young staff, a young and a girl, very friendly and nursing enough. the toilets needed attention and soap. my friend says this caffe is beautiful in the summer, there are a few tables out there. I guess it could be nice to try if you are in this particular area."

"Me and my husband took our 2 children down The Bull for lunch a few Saturdays ago. Excellent for the kids as have play area, children's booths and had a bouncy castle that particular weekend. Love how accommodating they are for children.... slush puppies, popcorn, mocktails, icecream, fab kids menu etc. We had a nice bit of food too, love the summer grill menu. Place was well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly. Bit of a wait at the outdoor bar but what do you expect on a Saturday when the weather is lovely! Will be returning soon, thank you for a great afternoon!!!"

"with women and children, there was only one table that was concerned, we ordered the sultan mix grill for the 4 of us it was something on the expensive side in comparison to some and outer london area for Turkish food. when the plates arrived, it was well presented, meat was nice and tenderly cooked, and portion generous. service was fast and efficient. negatiw will tip them a water delivered in 150ml glass when asked to jugs was said that they have no jugs, so either they give water in storage glass as I did not constantly ask personal."

"I've always loved Coast to Coast and visited as often as I could while I was at university in Leicester. Even though I've now moved out of Leicester and it's a 1.5 hour drive I always try and visit Coast to Coast because it's one of my favourite restaurants. It's themed on an old American diner and the has the décor and memorabilia to match. Even though they're always busy no matter what time of day you go (testament to how good the food is and how nice a place it is to go) they will always try and accommodate you and the staff are always friendly. If you like classic American diner food this is the place for you, every meal I've had from here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Would always recommend here! P.s. they're slightly pricey and don't have vouchers but it's so worth it!"

"We had a lunch to celebrate being able to get out together for a Christmas treat. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and provided excellent service. One of our group members was feeling unwell, but the staff on duty were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was well-presented and suited our budget perfectly, with a good selection on the fixed menu. Due to Covid restrictions, the restaurant was quite quiet and lacked atmosphere through no fault of the staff. We will definitely visit again."

"Absolutely disgraceful. We went in for a late breakfast as we usually love their food. We asked for poached eggs on toast that was stated explicitly on their menu we also asked for a big breakfast and mushrooms on toast. After ordering, a member of staff said they couldn 't do poached eggs but could do any other way. We challenged this because they had eggs so why could they not do poached? Whilst waiting for him to speak to the chef, we also ordered the breakfast and mushrooms on toast. We waited for half an hour, watching a table with more people that came in after us get all their food before ours came. When the staff member came back, he said they no longer do poached eggs as it 's an old menu they have not yet updated false advertising at it 's finest. After arguing about that for 5 minutes we then asked where the other food we ordered was, he replied saying he hadn 't yet ordered it even though we said we still wanted that. We told him we were outraged that we had been waiting so long and he responded with a bunch of rude and patronising comments telling us there 's no need to write a bad review, my friend before handing us the bill for the drinks without any discount or compensation for our troubles and saying well thank you for joining us . Awful service and awfully handled. Will not be returning. If we could give a minus review, we would."

"My wife and I, we diced to have a relax weekend at Pestana Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the Spa very busy but over all very good and beautiful. For dinner we diced to stay at the hotel, the food was ok for £35 per person I was expecting bit more. "Good evening, On Saturday of this month (January), I made a reservation for people at Coast to Coast Restaurant and I always use open table everytime I go there with family, friends or my husband. I also use this (Open table) to any other nice restaurants in London and I have never had a problem. When we got there at the time of our reservation, the guy that was as the Host position or in the Reception welcoming all the people was so rude (he was bald as I don’t have his name). We got there, said we had a reservation, and he said he didn’t have anything then we showed him the confirmation from OpenTable and his words were: “I don’t have anything, sorry”. WHATS IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Is AWFUL. I get there can be some mistakes but it is unacceptable the way he answered to a place we go to enjoy with friends and then this just makes it not want to come back. I go to loads of different restaurants and they have never treated us like that. If they are not gonna have the reservations then don’t promotion your restaurant in OpenTable cause it makes it an inconvenient believing you have something and then realizing you don’t."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Staff are rude and food no good for how much it cost. When receiving my food it came cold and small portion for £16. Small tiny piece of chicken smothered in sauce which was cold. Onion rings were nice. Ordered Mac n cheese as a side which was watery and disgusting! (My daughter wouldn’t even eat it and she loves mac cheese) Looked like the food has come from a microwave meal and just heated up. When speaking to the girl behind the bar saying that the chicken is cold on both meals she was rude and said ‘it can’t be it’s just come from the kitchen’ it was cold. When asking for a refund I was told that they can heat it back up or make another one which I didn’t want I just asked for a refund instead. I showed her the food and put my finger in the chicken to show it’s cold the girl said now she won’t take it back for a refund as I’ve put my finger in it. I’m sorry but I paid for the meal I will put my finger in it if I want to. Then she started saying again she will heat it up. I said no thanks I will have a refund instead please. I told her I’m the customer if I’m saying the food is cold and I don’t want it re heated up and I would like a refund that should be done instead of trying to tell me that she will heat it back up and that I’m lieing to say the food is cold. Was greeted by another worker that asked what the problem was I told her that the 2 main meals are both cold and I would like a refund please and she sorted it out straight away apologising for the other lady’s attitude. I’ve never been to Camden before and I certainly won’t be retuning here again. Bad customer service and rude staff and overpriced micro meals!! Disgusting."

"We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service and staff were fantastic. The only issue we encountered was that the menu online was different from the one we received at the table. This discrepancy should be addressed, as other customers have also mentioned the same issue. "I ordered peri peri chicken, but it was just a small plain piece of chicken with supermarket bought peri peri sauce poured on top. The chicken is supposed to be cooked with the sauce, not poured on top afterwards. The chicken tasted like it had been left out for days. The salad was barely fresh. You would n't even feed a dog that meat, never mind a human. That is how sick it was. The meal was supposed to include grilled corn, but did n't. If you don't have what is listed on the menu, why not say, instead of stealing money from a customer. At £18, the same meal and drink would have been both edible and half the price at the wetherspoon's. Why the bar staff could n't check what was being served, ask me about the meal or check-back was a disgrace. The staff only want to deal with white people. I won't return to this venue."

"Having never quite been convinced by the menu and decor to ever entertain an evening out at Missoula, it came as a welcome surprise how wonderful the new occupier of the premises is proving to be. The bustling Friday trade did not slow the service...and we received a mouthwatering array of small plates and a sharing platter more than ample for our group of three. I highly recommend the small plates the selection of five provides a lip smacking variety of dishes ranging from cauliflower wings (delightful) to arancini balls and burnt beef ends. Actually also a fan of the sharing platter with chicken wings, chicken strips, onion rings, chips, roast, medley of sauces and sausage. "Just wanted to write this review so that others may consider alternative venue when they are faced with the choice at a very difficult and sad time. This hotel gets plenty of business from nearby funeral directors I assume because of is location but they are uncompassionate, unprofessional and unconcerned about your experience. When we arrived after leaving the funeral directors to book the reception I stood waiting for a period of time to be attended to. Eventually an employee on his break went through and got a staff member. She had me stand at the reception, recite details showing no empathy for our situation, when booking my father in laws at the Seamill Hydro we were sat away from the reception and treated in a caring way. When we arrived at the time booked after the funeral we stood at the reception for a period of time before being shown through. No offer of condolences offered. As for the drinks on arrival, we waited a good 10 minutes before any orders taken missing out 4 guests. Eventually food came out slowly. We were given one coffee/tea and the staff left. We tried to find staff to see if we could have more coffee and order more drinks but staff found not be found. I had over estimated the number of people who attended but even though we paid for food for more people my guests were not offered anymore sandwiches, sausage rolls etc. When settling the bill I was of course charged for the food/drinks that never appeared and was not asked if everything was ok. A basic courtesies in the hospitality business. Please consider alternatives before booking here, it is easy money for them and they do not care n anyway about the customer. I contacted the Lynnhurst Hotel 3 days ago and unsurprisingly they have not responded."

"Went here for drinks and dinner for a mates stag party. We went during the Champions League Final. Venue is very large with plenty of sitting and standing room. Venue is also located on the river which provides a great view if you are sitting outside (and the weather is nice). Good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that when you order from their app it is not very clear on how to take advantage of their specials. They have a 2 for 1 cocktail special (where you order and pay for 1 and you get another one of the same cocktail free). What they don't say on the app is that you physically have to order two on the app. I did not know this and only ordered 1 and only got one but they charged full price, and weren't interested in just making another one for me when I explained what happened. Other than this great venue and would recommend if you are visiting York."

"We have visited this ASK restaurant several times now and each visit has been wonderful. I arrived with a friend who eats meat, but we decided to share the vegan sides (garlic bread, side salad, and roast potatoes) and I enjoyed the spaghetti al pomodoro without mozzarella, which was delicious. "I was searching for a restaurant for a pre-theatre meal and a special place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The ambience and authenticity were fantastic, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we opted for the set menu priced at £35 per person. The quality of the food was outstanding, but we wished there were more dishes and larger portions per person. For example, we ordered the teriyaki salmon and there was only one piece that we had to share. I felt that since we were paying per person, the portions should have been more equal. However, the dessert was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again, but I would be more cautious with my food choices. It is a perfect location for a pre-theatre meal near the Royal Albert Hall."
