"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. "We had mums 70th birthday meal here for a group of 14. Prior to the day, Shiya handled my booking very attentively and advised that bringing a cake would be okay. Poppadoms were served prior to us ordering the starters. The starters ordered were very nice, both vegetarian and meat dishes. Waited a bit of time between courses as some guests did ask how long it was going to be. This could have been due to the size of the booking and dishes ordered. I would recommend a bit more attentiveness to larger bookings. The mains were also very nice and tasted fresh, with flavour. Wines, beer, and cocktails served. All in all, it's a nice restaurant in the heart of Eailing. Good vegetarian and seafood options on the menu. Shiya who is front of the house, was very nice and very keen to make her diners feel welcome."

"No welcome on arrival, we had to ask three times if someone could take our order. We'd booked for 5.30 to allow time to eat before the Tuesday night football at the Valley. There were only three tables in bar ourselves at this point. It took nearly 1 1/2 hrs to get our mains, all the time the kitchen was prioritising Take Aways for Just Eat customers over restaurant diners. Other people were complaining about the wait around us. When our starters had come and someone came to the table to ask if everything was ok, he'd turned around and walked off before I could compliment him on the starters. They literally didnt give a toss, apart from their friends... To add insult to injury I'd just got up to ask about the wait on the food and a waiter proceeded to put a plate of fried chicken and a bowl of chips on a table in the corner behind us, there was no one sat at the table, until two lads arrived clearly their buddies and sat down to eat when we had been waiting over 45 minutes for our mains. The food arrived, my butter chicken consisted of huge chunks of dried out chicken in yoghurt with some spice mix, my friend's chicken biryani was cold, my peshwari naan was soo sweet as to be inedible. We left after 5 minutes of getting our mains having paid. Safe to say that's a disaster not to be repeated in the same place!"

"This restaurant is one of the best places for milkshakes. I absolutely love the milkshakes here, especially the Oreo shake and Ambassador shake which I have tried and loved. The food is also amazing here. Although the service can be a bit slow, I believe that the delicious food is worth the wait. The ambiance is very cozy and comfortable. The prices are reasonable and I frequently visit this place to try out their shakes. If you're a fan of milkshakes, this place is a must-visit."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, and it was completely empty. But that didn't bother me as I was there to eat, not to people watch. And I must say, it was an excellent choice! We started with delicious onion rings with mayo, and for our main dishes, we had the BBQ double chicken burger and Double beef blue cheeseburger with extra dips. The meals were very tasty and came with a decent amount of french fries. I really enjoyed my experience at this place and will definitely be visiting again soon!"

"Clean, spacious welcoming Located on the main road and so easy to find. There's no on site parking or adjacent parking facilities; but there's an NCP parking lot on the road opposite, but on Sunday we found free parking nearby. Rest room facilities are also available, but just for customers. Ice cream was delicious quantity per scoop was more generous than compared to most other places! And the waffle cone was scrumptious also. Lots of options, both in flavours but also ice creams vs. sundaes vs. shakes as well as brownies, waffles and hot and cold drinks. Decor felt a bit typically American; 70s nostalgia!? Staff were polite, helpful and welcoming Overall, very impressed by the BR in Edinburgh!"
