"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. The service is a little chaotic with someone offering us drinks and as they leave the table someone else approaching us from another angle to offer us more drinks. The food is very good and the drinks (all non alcoholic) offer a fair amount of variety but don't assume the lack of alcohol will reduce your bill! Soft drinks are five pound each. Pickles , poppadoms, and everything is charged separately. Children's meals are...read more"

Not as expected!. Mumtaz, not as expected, was good many years ago, but quality of food and service have dropped big time! food is pricey for you pay for, and not special, i think OVER HYPED IS THE WORD!

Found the food taste simply ok in this one. The ambience is excellent. Can have great times with family and friends. The paneer that we ordered was served hot in a small kadai kept above small burning flame. Something that is unique and not seen everywhere.

Flawless food i had in the Clarence Dock . Starting from the Kebabs both the Fish Tandoor and the Chicken ones . The Dal Tadka yellow lentils was very well cooked too , the Biriyani was exceptionally good correct amount of saffron and spices used . To complete a full meal the desserts were awesome the chocolate mud pie .

for a place with such bright reviews, it did not meet the expected standards. Apart from a great view and ambiente, the place has nothing extraordinary to offer! the food was very average and most of the dishes we had did not taste as if they had been freshened. Apart from the manager, the rest of the staff seemed to be upset and showed little interest to explain something to us.

the height of the excellent visited mumtaz for the first time and what for an experience, the interior design is of a very high class, felt like we had in a seven star hotel, now eating was excellent, a great experience, lamb hacks my favorit could not get fresher, the main course was from this world everyone needs here for excellent in eating and service my family really enjoyed the where moment.

Beautiful restaurant. Manager very welcoming. All staff apart from the waiter who dealt with our initial complaint was useless. Coming from a customer service background in the same trade I wasn't happy with the reply of nobody else has complained' unfortunately isn't good enough. Eventually one of the waitresses informed a chef who in turn informed the manager who dealt with. Either offered us another dish or wiped of our bill. We accepted the latter. Beside that little incident the overall experience from waiters to the gentleman at the bar were excellent. Not to mention the food which was exceptional.

I'd heard about this place first from an Arab friend who thought it was great. Didn't pay too much attention thinking now if a Desi tells me this I might take heed. I was later taken there by family who live in England and have to say, I was taken aback Firstly the decor is so majestic and tastefully put together. Love the color scheme and beautiful chandeliers. Very soothing for the eyes with plenty of sunshine coming through their large windows which have a grand view of the dock, with boats lining their tiny Marina Now here starts the food, we felt like eating traditional delicacies and were a bit disappointed to learn the Masala Brains' had sold out. Anyhow we went onto to order...read m...

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
