"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. "Myself and my wife have been to Zayna four times during recent trips up the Chiltern line to London and it is, quite simply, fabulous. The curry is second to none in central London and as true Brummies, we know our curries . We have been, in previous visits to more expensive and well marketed Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani eateries in and around Marylebone and Fitzrovia one of which is even boasted that he unmissable hideousness of a table full of loadsamoney noisy oafs which I don’t seem to recall were part of that particular restaurant website’s sales pitch. In any case, none can touch Zayna. We had Mukhun Murgh, Aloo Gobi, and Tarka Dhaal. We accompanied our mains with the sublime garlic naan you simply must… peas pilau, and the garlic pilau chef’s kiss . So, we will keep going back. The hospitality from Shan and his staff is always one of the warmth and good humour. The cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere cosy, and the personal touches of a family run restaurant there for the keen eye to see. It’s worth it alone for the two magnificent hand carved mirrors that adorn one wall, that took one man and one chisel six months to complete. You must go."

"This restaurant seemed perfect for our group of 6 friends with a round table. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, although we were allowed to order too much. However, we found the prices for pappadams and naan to be excessive. The food was served in large containers with lids, which made it difficult to fit everything on the table. The bill came to £60 per person, including 3 reasonably priced bottles of wine and some beers. Considering the price, we expected the service to be more refined, but it fell short of our expectations."

"The best balti in all of Great Britain. We have been coming here for 15 years, and last night I brought my girlfriend along. We had a fantastic time, the staff were as welcoming and friendly as ever. The food was delicious and very affordable. We ordered katlama, chicken pakora, chicken balti, huh jalfrezi, two naans, and a side of rice, all of which were excellent. For dessert, we had gul road jamun and chocolate barfi. "Short: Foods very good but delivery service is horrible. Detailed: Eaten there about 5 times. Tried several items and their food is good, mango lassi is amazing. My main problem is their delivery service, it is horrible. There’s never been once where there brought the food on time. I always ordered through Deliveroo and because they do their own delivery you cannot track. The last order I even cancelled because 50min later the food hadn’t arrived. Whenever I called they said 10min and even once they said they couldn’t reach the driver. I’d advise maybe go eat in but avoid delivery at all cost."
