"A lovely wee night out with my Girlfriend for a meal here. Food was real good. Service was just nice, no long waits. We enjoyed everything thing we got. Had a wer laugh with the waiter. We started with a soup. I had Daal soup, it's a lentil soup with a difference. hot to the back of your throat. It would burn the hairs of a mans chest from the inside out lol. It was lovely. Finished it to the end. My Girlfriend had chicken Soup then the main meal. No waste. So enjoyable. The photos of the menus, I think there are the carry out ones."

"very nice restaurant. love the interiors. beautiful looking place with a bar. and apparently they soon open a Sheesha lounge and look forward to it! had a great experience here. Eat: we started with Indian ingwer and Masala tea, which was really good, and pappadum. for the main course we ordered chicken tikka masala and a fried rice, dhaba chicken and pilaureis and Karahi sprout with plain naan. I must say we were not disappointed by any of the dishes. the food was delicious and portioned enough to fill it completely. price: a little expensive, too little for us students, but I would say it worth it. service: the staff is very polite and beautiful! very happy with the service. definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves or wants to try good Indian food!"

"forget the decoration, everything about eating. the best lamm karahi in glasgow there is no doubt about it and that with the best in Scotland. it is really hard to get a better tasting curry full hold. freshly made, fresh nan and red. taste and taste were divine. When I got through, I made a point to come back. overpriced restaurants could learn something or two from these youngs. service with a smile, also had the huh tikka, which is delicious. recommended and five stars all over the way. If I'm ever up the neck of the forest, this place is saved in my favorites."

"Food taste was great hence it has 4 stars but its the overall experience let us down. The portion was really small. We had starter and main course and found that the portion was too too small. Even portion of rice is not enough for 1 average person. We also found that we were rushed with our starter as they had main course prepared. And table was so small and too close to each other. It felt like we were at a fast food restaurant. So overall dinning experience was poor."

"I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"we had traveled from Australia to do the north coast 500 and spent a night in edinburgh. after a long day of traveling and sightseeing we needed an Indian experience and stumbled over ronaq on craigleith rd near where we were. we have tried an Indian in every city we traveled to, and no one is close to this. the best Indian we have experienced in our travels and in our home country. they make one fall and do not look for something better. they will not find it. ask also for benny and get the best service with an end after dinner mint with their bill. brilliant. many thanks. 12/10 review by us."

"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. The service is a little chaotic with someone offering us drinks and as they leave the table someone else approaching us from another angle to offer us more drinks. "I usually don't say that, but wow!, literally for 2 adults and a baby with facebook messenger! Yes, you have read that right, wasn't sure if it was done, but it was. arrived with a smile greeted by the girl on the recipe, was shown on our table immediately as sitting our menus were given and were left to see it at our own time, the young English waiter asked if we had a high chair for small, the high chair was not the typical cheap one they usually get. we ordered a mixed starter for 2, when it arrived and my wife agreed that it was fresh a delicious! we ordered a lambkarahi and lambnihari both again hot with a lot taste and tasty, for dessert we told ghulab jamun with ice and a blue lagoon tail, the woman said the hot and cold mix of the ghulab jamun was amazing, the blue lagune mocktail was nice, with the glass not full of ice cubes had bombed it. the personal was absolutely amazing, the service and the carelessness that we received, we are so grateful that a worker brought some fresh gurke for our baby to crack, another got a ballon for him, there was always a worker close to who would ask us if we needed something else and if that was proper. I almost forgot that I was in a blackburn restaurant, price was reasonable, will definitely return to the near future, and thank you to all those who yesterday on the 14th february 2022 to our table, again thank you from me and my wife for one night to remember."

"We booked Jilabi last minute to host a 40th birthday party for 25 family members. We were allocated a private function room and given support in planning the menu to meet the needs of our party. From start to finish we experienced tasty food but the customer service was certainly amongst the best we have ever experienced. Unfortunately the cake that we had purchased had been left out of the fridge (error on our part) and collapsed as soon as the waiters were due to bring it in. The workers discreetly notified us and arranged a similar cake from the same cake shop in such a short amount of time. After our mains came the freebies that we hadn’t requested but were provided complimentary by the restaurant. First came chocolate cake with ice cream and fresh Indian sweets. Then came a mock tail that was absolutely delicious. They then served us huge fresh fruit platters followed by our choice of tea or coffee. We paid a modest bill for this exceptional meal and will be sure to attend again in the future."
