"The food was delicious and the staff were very charming. The restaurant had a charming Louisiana atmosphere, which was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was due to something beyond their control. Unfortunately, there was a group of people celebrating a birthday with several young children who were very loud. The noise level was so high that it was hard to enjoy our meal, so we ended up having to eat quickly and leave."

"This was place was recommended to me but I was extremely disappointed, the only good thing here was the starter's we got wings and Mac and cheese which we really enjoyed however the mains was an extreme let down. All the dishes came cold and took forever, I had steak which taster horrible I ended up not even eating it and just having my chips. The chicken dish had absolutely no flavour whatsoever it tasted bland and greasy even this we couldn't eat. The only decent thing was the baby back ribs but even those were cold. This place was a real let down. We even got brownie for dessert and it was dry and tasted super old. However the staff were friendly and helpful which was also a good thing about this place. But if you are thinking you will get good food here I wouldn't say so."

"We had a reservation but still had to wait 35 minutes to be seated, which was a bit frustrating. However, we understand that Christmas Day can be busy. The service and atmosphere were good, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, due to the crowded restaurant, there were several mistakes with our orders. We did not receive the amuse bouche that was listed on the menu, my pan-fried scallops were undercooked and missing caviar, and my rib eye steak was unseasoned and came with minimal sides. The dessert I wanted was not available, so I had to settle for something else. Overall, I only received about half of what was promised on the menu, and for £95 per person, I felt disappointed and ripped off. I wish I had just cooked Christmas dinner myself. As a student, it's difficult to justify spending so much money on a disappointing meal. While I have enjoyed dining here before, this experience was very disappointing. It's possible that overbooking led to these issues."

"Breakfast was ok, my partner's toast was untoasted, he asked for toasted toast and they only brought 1 slice, seemed a bit stingy to not replace both slices. The rest of his breakfast was good. I asked for 3 items from extras menu as I have dietary limitations, they charged me £11 and the scrambled egg wasn't good at all, bland and watery, I just hope it wasn't made with milk as I'd informed them I was lactose intolerant. When I queried the £11 charge they said they'd charged me for bread which I didn't have so did refund me £1.50. Staff were lovely and the place had a nice relaxed vibe. Probably a nice place for coffee and cake as the lattes were fine and the cakes looked nice, but from my experience expensive for the quality and portions."

"Great service from all the staff (we were served by at least four people) who were sociable and funny. Had the kale salad as was having a detox day, it was amazing and one of the best salads I’ve ever had, with loads of grilled chicken. "I made a reservation two months in advance, but when we arrived on time, they told us they couldn’t find our booking. Instead, they allowed a party of six without a reservation to enter. Even after I showed them my confirmation email, they informed us there was no space available. Just when we were about to leave, they somehow managed to find some emergency chairs and seated us right in the middle of the restaurant, despite many empty booths and tables scattered around that remained unoccupied throughout the entire hour we were there. Overall, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"We waited an hour for our food to come. When it came it was cold. I sent mine back which then took a further 30 minutes to come out with a fresh one. My partner said his full English was not good quality and was also cold. There is no allergen information on the menu next to the dishes. Was very busy but seemed very understaffed and as though they were not prepared for a busy service. It was very clean and the manager was good. The bill was altered. Personally I wouldn’t go back for breakfast. We wanted to try something new but were disappointed."

"Sunday lunch was underwhelming the veggie stack resembled a sad vegetarian burger patty with overcooked vegetables and the chocolate fondant was more like a dry sponge. Wouldn 't be surprised if it was all defrosted in the microwave. Service was a well intentioned but calamitous performance by uninterested and under trained staff. The ambience was raucous. It was, however, cheap; you get what you pay for, I guess. Would not return nor recommend."

"Can't fault the food at the Noose, always delicious and good value for money. Unfortunately the service tonight put a real downer on our visit. Despite being one of only 2 tables eating in the whole place we were left sitting waiting for service on multiple occasions. No menus for around 30 minutes when we arrived, our order wasn't put through to kitchen once we placed it although the staff were apologetic for that. Despite asking for the dessert menu no one came back to see if we actually wanted to order or came back with the water we'd requested, meanwhile the staff were having a laugh behind the bar. Such a shame as we've been to the Noose a lot in the past and recommended to friends and family but not sure we'll be rushing back after our latest experience."

"My son uses the bar regularly and always has a great time in a safe and well run environment. The previous evening however after enjoying a meal, he left his expensive headphones in the bar They went missing but I can’t fault the help we had from the friendly bar staff and especially the Manager Dean to find them and ensure they were returned to us. However, there were six of us and all the starters didn't arrive at the same time (the first time this has happened), in addition to which the room temperature was rather on the chilly side. "I went on Friday night for the first time in almost two years with my usual co-administrators to the king's." I was quite overwhelmed to find the atmosphere intact, everyone relaxed, no mandat nonsense, just do what a pub is to get a table. Relax down and with a drink. to go to a bar and not speak through a plastic screen. the personal was so inviting even after so much time! I really felt humble, these people here really invest in their customers. munchables were the usual what they see is what they get and very satiating standard, delivered fast and hot. I am so glad to be back and hope to visit the king again as regularly as we have done before."

"When we first arrived, the noise level was acceptable, but it increased while we waited for our meals. Despite this, we enjoyed the food and found the staff to be fantastic, with other patrons being quite friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this place—it's not fine dining, as it's a pub, but it offers great food at a very good value. My only complaint is the TV being too loud when it didn’t need to be; we could hear it just fine before we ordered. I will certainly eat here again if I'm in the area, but I’ll be sure to avoid times when football is on!
