"I went on Friday night for the first time in almost two years with my usual co-administrators to the king's." I was quite overwhelmed to find the atmosphere intact, everyone relaxed, no mandat nonsense, just do what a pub is to get a table. Relax down and with a drink. to go to a bar and not speak through a plastic screen. the personal was so inviting even after so much time! I really felt humble, these people here really invest in their customers. munchables were the usual what they see is what they get and very satiating standard, delivered fast and hot. I am so glad to be back and hope to visit the king again as regularly as we have done before."

Delighted to visit the reopened Kings Head it was spotlessly clean, well run and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a Mix Grill and everything was perfectly cooked and presented top notch.

This is one of the few places we have found that is great. I cant think of one time we have been there and not had a warm welcome. If you are looking for a good food with great portions you need to try this...place. Even if it is your first time in the staff welcome, can't wait for the place to reopen.

After a longish journey to get here, we were looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this gem. Food was lovely, especially the gravy . Very friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful with tips on where to visit whilst here. Brilliant place that...we will definitely be visiting again before we leave. Excellent service, well done!

This is one of the few places I have found that is a great place to start the night off or finish the night off. I cant think of one time I have ever gone that I haven't had a good time.If you are looking...for a good food with great portions you have to try the burgers. Even if it is your first time in the staff welcome you as a long time patron .

because for a pint and the pint was so disgusting it was unbelievable when we said it didn't taste, she went either to the manager or owner and he came back in the round tell us his hard and that's what...we bought and tried saying that the pint was too strong for us, but in reality we both run or work in a pub/restaurant and that is not how a pint should taste. this is not how they deal with customers/employees. £8 I've ever spent the worst.

I have eaten here at least a dozen times and have always found the food very nice. This week was no exception when I had the barbecue chicken melt from the 2 meals for £8.49 menu. I have visited here for a full breakfast, a...sandwich and chips for lunch and fish and chips for tea. On the weekend there is a great atmosphere in the pub especially if there is a band playing. Throughout the week there are also themed nights. Last year I attended this venue for two parties. The staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Lunch on Thursday, couple and adult daughter. Visiting as an appointment in the area, not local. Wide ranging menu with light bites sandwiches burgers and good selection variety of main meals. Have a few veggie options and also vegan options. Had all day breakfast,...mixed grill and vegan nacho’s. All 3 meals came quickly, were hot and presented well. Mixed grill was perfect and thoroughly enjoyed, very filling. Welcoming environment and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. Would happily spend a few evenings here with a pint
