"I hope it was just a blip. We go here regularly for breakfast and usually faultless, however staff were all different, coffees were cold, sent back and they microwaved them! Brought no spoon, had to ask for one, they brought a little spoon that was no good for the tall latte cups, order came out wrong etc, not the usual service we get."

Really interesting menu, lots of choice. I’m quite a fussy eater and there were quite a few dishes I could eat. Clean. Wasn’t busy so we were served really quickly. Good value too.

Great Sunday roast beef was delicious! Lovely buzzy atmosphere and very friendly and efficient service from Shauna. Great table by the open window on a sunny day. Dog friendly so good place to go for Sunday lunch after a walk.

really love the hertford house beautiful event good coworkers good eating but the art work that on earth would leave a 5 year old exhibition all these Scottish work. I'm an inside architect and it's so annoying. pls sort this out of hh. peace from

I was recommended this place by a friend and I am so pleased to have now found it. We’ve had brunch twice now and throughly enjoyed it both times. The quality of the food is high as is the coffee. Highly recommend. Should try to book prior as gets busy.

Always a pleasure to visit. We often go to Hertford House for breakfast with our 3 year old and we love it. The food is outstanding fantastic quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. I would say it’s the best breakfast in town! The staff are lovely too. Great place overall!
