The Melanzane alla Parmigiana offered another indulgent delight. The Bufalina pizza, my personal choice, was a homemade masterpiece. The pizza boasted a perfectly cooked base – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beautiful and creamy buffalo mozzarella, complemented by the deep basil, added layers of flavor that delighted the taste buds. We concluded our culinary journey with two distinct desserts. The Chocolat Souflé provided a sweet and decadent ending, while the Gnocchi con Nutella, featuring gnocchi filled with Nutella and vanilla ice cream, was a unique and delightful treat. "Dough is a pizzeria/restaurant run by Italians in the center of Bath. With many options for celiac, vegetarians and vegans, nobody will be disappointed; you can even choose the type of dough! They have white flour, whole wheat flour, corn flour… and the list goes on! During weekend it can get pretty busy, but even without a booking, they can find you a table in 10 minutes. The stuffed eggplant with tomato sauce was simply delicious, the sauce reminded me of the summers I spent with my brother at my grandma’s house, when after the beach, she was always making a simple pasta al sugo for lunch, with her tomato sauce that no one could ever match! If you are going to Dough you must try their pizza, period. The pizza parcel is filled with grilled zucchini, aubergines and vegetable cheese. The pizza dough is stone baked and crunchy at the ends and the melted cheese is to die for. Also, the prices are affordable and if you have a reusable bottle, they will refill it for you. Let’s hope they will open in London soon!"

"A bare bones type of restaurant that also serves as a take away pizza place Environment Very small. Only seating for 25 people. So come early or book (or take away). The decor is very basic. Tables, chairs and pictures. It doesn 't have a cozy feeling as it is too bare. Location is very good. Just in the corner of Ealing Road and Pope 's Lane. Few minutes walking from South Ealing. A few buses get you there easily. Food We started with Focaccia and olives, soon to find out that it is completely overkill. After the order it takes around 10 minutes for the pizza to come, so might as well wait a bit longer for them as they are huge. I had the Toto , with cured ham, cheese and some fresh herbs. Basic stuff, still, like pretty much all *Italian* pizza, it 's the real deal. Fantastic woody taste in the dough. And after that, a slice of tiramisu. It had just the right texture. It wasnt dunk in liquor, like most are Value At the end, a meal for 3 was £50. Which included drinks, 3 pizzas, starters and a dessert. Can 't really beat that considering the overall quality of the meal."

"I first went to la pernella in 1996, from the moment I went into what was called alberto’s at that time, I fell in love with the place. I would go early in the morning for an amazing veggie breakfast and think nothing of going to dinner with my family when I live in bromley lol. the pizza is fantastic, my two girls thought it was amazing when the pizza came on their own little table. "I have been living in West London for over twenty-three years and have passed by this pizzeria countless times without trying it until last month, which is embarrassing. Due to new dietary restrictions, I had to change my eating habits and discovered this place through Deliveroo. My first order was a vegan marinara pizza with extra black olives, spicy salami, mushrooms, and vegan mozzarella, all topped with their slightly expensive but worth it white truffle oil. When I called to place my order, I spoke with a gentleman named George who was incredibly helpful and reassuring. To my delight, the pizza was the best I have ever had. It was gluten-free with vegan cheese and incredibly delicious. I loved it so much that I ordered another one when it arrived. Now I order from them twice a week and am always satisfied. The pizza is amazing, but the service is even better. I can't wait for the lockdown to end so I can visit the pizzeria in person and enjoy their delicious pizza fresh."

"I had no idea that Reading had a wine bar this fun, it’s a very well kept secret. From the outside it looks like a shop, but inside it’s all cosy tables surrounded by walls of wine. We chose to sit upstairs, which is quieter, out of the draught from the front door and felt a lot calmer. It’s candlelit, with piles of board games and a great atmosphere. The idea is that you have a card to put in ‘The Machine’ and then select your chosen wine and the size of the glass you’d like. You then present the card and pay at the end. This worked well for us; I wanted to try a mouthful of all the different wines (red, white, rose and an Orange Wine) and my companion wanted to try a large glass of every red available. We ended up getting through a couple of cards. Originally, we’d planned to have a couple of drinks and then move on to get dinner. But then we saw the menu and the chef. The menu was an array of exciting tapas, put together by the lovely Laura. I’d been to her previous business venture (Nomad Bakery) and it had been amazing, so we stuck in and ordered most of the menu. It didn’t disappoint; in fact it elevated the evening from fun to outstanding. I loved the Halloumi Burek, I was over the moon with the orange infused rice pudding. It was some of the best food I’ve had in Reading. Worth noting that they only do food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings; I don’t think we would have enjoyed ourselves so much with just nibbles. I’m a bit puzzled as to why some reviewers have been asked to pay up front. We definitely weren’t, we just ran a tab with a card behind the bar for food and drink. I want to give this more than 5 stars. I want to go back again and again and eat and drink and laugh. You need to book because it gets busy, but that’s because it’s so good."

"Unfortunately, we were placed at a table next to the bar, which seemed a Spillover table, without decorations like at other tables next to us (I heard that the lead waiter moved our booking to a larger table that had come). We also had the smell of the rods, which was unpleasant and were pulled behind us during the meal. Our main theme was a clear discrepancy in the quality ordered by two of our dishes; especially 2 Carbonara dishes, one of which was a full taste, sauce and spices, the other we thought was actually another dish. Barely cooked spaghetti, small sauce or taste. We asked if there was a mistake and the chief waiter/manager assured us it was the same dish from another pot. We continued with the plate and returned it, as it was so different and tasteless compared to the other part. We received a replacement carbonara that was much improved, but felt disappointed about the customer service experience and overall experience in the restaurant. Unlike would we go back"

"my wife and I have immersed here a Friday night on a weekend trip to london (they have not closed until for example so it is handy for a sweet tasty after restaurant food) and we loved the gelato so much that we were there on Saturday, Sunday and even Monday before we went home. the service was great every time (we were personally greeted by the man with the glasses until Monday, who recognized us from previous days). two creatures in a waffel cone is only and completely delicious. my favorite combo was a creature dark chocolate with a creature salted caramel, but they have loads to choose from. it is really authentic melt-in-the-mound soft-lato, so it is fast to eat, and it is ssooo good that we soon return to london, only so we can have more."

"Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, excellent value, and friendly service. Impressive wine selection by the glass and a wide variety of gins. Started with chicken liver pate and wild mushroom risotto, both of which were fantastic. The risotto had a perfect balance of flavors and texture, while the pate had a strong taste, although it could have used a bit more dressing on the side salad. The steak and Carbonara were both well-prepared, with the steak and chips being particularly outstanding. The Carbonara was creamy and had a nice egg flavor, but the addition of chicken pieces was not necessary. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious crumble with pecan topping and homemade vanilla ice cream, as well as a Cheesecake made with Merlyn liquer which was well executed but not a dish we would order again. The only downside was the table we chose near the door to the toilets, which caused a loud bang with each use. Despite this, we will definitely be returning for the fantastic food, service, and ambiance."
