"The service was absolutely lovely—really couldn't fault it! The food was delicious as well. The only downside was that there were only two high chairs available, so we had to wait for a table to leave before we could get one. The wait for the food was a bit longer than expected, but it’s not a problem if you’re not in a rush! I will definitely be coming back."

"The menu features delicious food, and the cocktails are reasonably priced at £6.95. Around 12:30, the restaurant wasn't crowded, allowing for social distancing. However, I noticed that the young waiter was holding the cocktail glasses by the rim, which is concerning during these times of COVID-19. This highlights the need for better training in hygiene practices."

"Had two excellent meals at this restaurant in the heart of Oxford. The welcome and service we received from Sam and his staff was terrific the extent that we decided to have another evening there for our last of three nights in Oxford. We reserved a table for 7-30 but arrived to find the restaurant packed as many were eating prior to going to the theatre. In spite of the crowds Sam spotted us as soon as we walked through the door and led us to our table. (the only one vacant) The service was exemplary, professional and very friendly, even though we had not been served by the same waiter the young lady from the first night made a point of coming and saying hello once the theatre crowds had left. The food was of an equally high standard and served timely in spite of the restaurant being so busy. Sam came when we asked for the bill and chatted to us and the bill was very reasonable. I would point out that we never left a tip as there was a 10% service charge less than other restaurants in Oxford. I rarely write reviews on restaurants but our visits to this restaurant were exceptional."

"My husband and I reserved a large table at Cote in Farnham for our family and friends to celebrate the night before our wedding. Although we had originally booked the private room upstairs, there was a floor issue and we were moved to the conservatory. Daniel handled our booking via email, his communication was excellent and he was quick to respond. The restaurant was very accommodating as our numbers increased, and they made organizing the event on top of our wedding stress-free. With 33 guests in total, we were all seated together and given a choice of menu. The pre-order process was easy and the team was relaxed and efficient. The room was decorated with fairy lights, flowers, and champagne to welcome our guests. The food was perfect with a variety of options, and the service for starters, mains, and desserts was smooth with no issues. The team at Cote should be proud of themselves for their amazing work."

"My wife and I got married here 01/10/23. We booked the whole thing in January 2022. From start to finish it was organised perfectly. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly and professional and any changes we wanted were done without question and with minimal effort. The venue is a good size for what we needed, 60 guests throughout the day and the same for the evening. It’s intimate, rustic, full of character and a very calming and warm atmosphere. The mismatched chairs, the fireplace, the tables and the general decor adds to the charm of the whole place. We dealt with Meg the day before and day of the wedding. She used our decorations and set out the tables and surroundings perfectly! She was so good to talk to and it was evident she had our best interest at heart, and just wanted us to have the best day. The day ran smoothly, thanks to the staff and their efforts. We didn’t worry about anything and the pre-wedding meetings were efficient and made sure that we had considered and provided instruction for every aspect of the day. I couldn’t recommend this venue anymore. It’s well priced in today’s wedding venue market and I felt we got value for money. Whilst it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I’d encourage anyone to have a look around the place and see what they thought. The location is great being just outside of the city centre. "One of the most baffling experiences ever... Came for smoked salmon and eggs, and a granola. Waited 35 minutes, during which time the table next to us received, then sent back a breakfast (twice because the hollandaise sauce was cold. They left without paying for it. When we asked how much longer, there was some consternation and then ten minutes later they appeared, so Im guessing it was forgotten. The eggs were burnt, and the salmon was cooked (looked fried??! ..Im genuinely without any clue as to how this will have happened. We left without eating, and the guy who dealt with us was really apologetic but the (I'm guessing manager just sat next to us playing with her laptop. Madness. Don't know what the deal was in the kitchen, but something wasn't right!"

"We booked an afternoon tea for 3 in the Double tree Hilton Stafford on Avon. When we sat, we served an afternoon tea for two. There are only enough cakes, sandwiches for 2. When we asked, they said it was for 2 people and then brought us 'extra' cake. We had to ask for some sandwiches, as I said, we would be happy to pay for it. They also brought us sandwiches. On the booking the menu said that there are going to serve Scones (as you do in most afternoon tea) and Macaroons and Madalines as part of the deserts. However, we were served with butter and jam. And no Macaroons or Madalines. We were disappointed as we were expecting Scones and Macaroon and an afternoon tea for 3 and our expectations were not met as per offer. However, the food tasted good."

"A charming French restaurant in Fulham. They have a skilled French chef who prepares excellent local dishes, and the Parisian owners are friendly and knowledgeable about their wine selection. The pork terrine, onion jam, and onion soup were all delicious starters, as well as the lamb with couscous, garlic spinach, and fantastic fries. The unfiltered house Cotes du Rhone paired perfectly with the meal. We will definitely be returning."

"I made a reservation for the top-rated restaurant near the festival hall as we were attending a show in the evening. I am thrilled that we chose this place - the food was delicious albeit a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality. I would love to come back again. The cheese soufflé was absolutely amazing, and I even tried the pistachio one for dessert! Both my husband and I agreed that all three courses were very tasty and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this place. We wish there was one in the Cambridge/Saffron Walden area so we could enjoy it at home!"

"This is the second time we have visited and again were not disappointed. I booked for my partner’s birthday and we enjoyed a complimentary glass of fizz once seated. To start we had a Spicy Crab Soup and a Fish Soup. Both had great depth of flavour and were warming on quite a cold day. For mains we had the oven roasted Brill and Salmon. Both beautifully cooked and we commented on more than adequate portion sizes. This is a restaurant that offers a relaxed dining environment with good friendly service and consistently delivers well cooked high quality produce."
