"I booked the restaurant from looking at the reviews and I felt that it was worth a go. From the outside I wasn’t sure. It looked a little shall we say, dated, but upon entering the restaurant the décor was beautiful. We were seated and throughout the service was adequate. The pakora wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still nice. The curry however was tasty. The chicken was incredibly tender. Reasonably priced. Worth the money I would say. However the toilets would do with a face lift. Over all would say it was good and that I would go back"

"We visited The Milon this evening for my mums 60th birthday and there was a party of 11 of us. The service was excellent with nothing to much trouble for any of the staff. The food was excellent quality and the portion size was perfect. The staff sorted out a cake we had provided and my mum was treated to a complimentary drink for her birthday which was a nice touch. This place has been here for nearly 50 years and you can see why. Overall i would definitely recommend The Milon."

"Among the dozens of Indian restaurants in Brick Lane, we reluctantly fell for the sales pitch at the door and decided to dine at Aladin. The menu was extensive, but seemed very similar to that of the other nearby curry houses. I decided to order the non veg thali. There was a good variety of offerings, but I was disappointed with the taste of the food. It wasn't bad, but definitely nothing special no deep flavors or spiciness to add to the taste that I have gotten accustomed to enjoying from better establishments. The interaction with the waiter was confusing at best, during the order process, but mostly at the end when he presented the bill. It was a handwritten check that was finally corrected after the fourth attempt amid a bunch of scratched off numbers to indicate the discount that the salesman at the door promised, and to also remove items that were double charged. The street level dining room was small, but somehow accommodated a lot of diners which made it very noisy. I will unfortunately not return to Aladin. There are much better Indian restaurants around London."

"Visited on a whim, and Indian food is something I do enjoy. Sat downstairs and my order was taken right away. Poppadoms and a variety of sauces were brought and I nibbled whilst waiting for the meal I ordered. It only took minutes and was delivered, piping hot. It was fabulous, really well cooked and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for fast and friendly service and a lovely meal. It was, I feel, a tad pricy, the rice was separate, and although they do meal deals, this was outwith the times. However, it is in St.Andrews so that seems to be on par with Edinburgh pricing. Lovely meal though."

"Hands down the best Indian/Bangladeshi food in all of Bournemouth/Dorset. If you are visiting the area you have to come and try their food. The service is fast and on time, and they will always have a smile on their faces. Great menu, lots of sides and mains to pick from, with lovely flavours. "Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"Our first visit to a curry restaurant on Brick Lane was very enjoyable. We arrived at 10pm and found the restaurant starting to quiet down after a busy evening. We were warmly welcomed and received excellent service throughout our meal. The staff were attentive, professional, and friendly. Our drinks arrived quickly, including a refreshing cold draught of Kingfisher beer. We started with classic dishes of Onion Bhajias and Prawn on Puri, followed by main courses of Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Dhansak. We also had rice, Naan bread, and Tarka Dahl to accompany our meal. All the dishes were well-presented, perfectly spiced, and served in generous portion sizes. The restaurant had a lovely decor and ambiance, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"This is by far the best Indian in the area...yeah it's a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I'm not a loyal customer I'll try most places, but this really has always been the tastiest Indian consistently. We usually order take out but dining in is a must also. "I order 2 pack of meal deals 1hun tikka masala, pilau reis and an extra simple naan I said it would be 1 hour and 30 minutes this was good, we waited for 2 hours and when it arrived the food. was cold and we had no soaking with our packings and there was a missing naan broth for the kids also no cries After we had read so many great reviews, we were looking forward to trying it, but tbh was it a let down that was bland and tasteless possibly the worst Indian food I have ever experienced and the service was just as bad. I just wish I had little indie with my ordinary Indian takeaway, which never fails. it cost me £35 for 2 packs 1 huhn tikka masala 2 bags of chips 1 pilau reis and popadoms. when I went to the menu and added the price of the food without the packs it on £16.40 meant that I paid almost £10 for the packs alone. I'm sorry, but that ruined mine at night, and I'm never gonna give it back to me."
