"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aamchi Mumbai, and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This restaurant consistently delivers amazing food, impeccable service, and undoubtedly provides the best dining experience every time. The exceptional food alone does not guarantee a memorable dining experience. What truly sets Aamachi Mumbai apart is their unparalleled service. The staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that guests have a remarkable time. From the moment I stepped foot inside the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my visit exceptional . The level of professionalism combined with their friendly and welcoming demeanor created an atmosphere that made me feel valued as a customer. No matter how many times I've visited, I have always been treated to the same outstanding service and exceptional food. This level of consistency speaks volumes about the dedication and commitment of the restaurant's team. "Horrendous attitude from one of the owners/family helpers called Lee. I would like to highlight that Sonia provided a professional customer service experience in comparison to Lee. Placed the order at arrived at When I called at to find out...what was happening, Sonia offered to phone the driver to find out the situation for me, which was good. Whilst waiting on Sonia phoning me back, I received a call from Lee asking me to tell her what the problem was, I explained her colleague was dealing with it she then went on to explain how busy they are, which is understandable and I understand the challenges businesses have at the moment, owning my own. But there was no apology. In fact Lee (who at this point I did not know was the owner/family helper until Sonia told me) went on to tell me it was my fault I ordered from Just eat as they had their own orders to fill first?? Eh hello? It doesn't matter how I place my order, I chose your business to order my dinner from!. Anyway I explained to her that I didn't like her tone of voice and felt she was being really aggressive with me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my order,I said we have been waiting two hours, so we may as well wait, however she was very forceful and kept saying no I will cancel, I will cancel and then decided to put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe how I had been treated as a customer! Then Sonia kindly phoned back to apologise and I asked whoever that was, should not be in a customer role and I was shocked to be spoken to in that way. She then went on to inform me Lee is the owner/family helper! Shocking. Sonia asked for my details and explained she would let the other owner know what had happened. hours later, I've not heard a peep from the restaurant. So I've made the decision to leave a review after explaining to them, this is what I would do. After waiting over and a half hours and using them for the first time, the food was below average. The pakoras and rice was nice, however the chicken korma was inedible, it was stringy and chewy, the lamb bhuna sauce was nice, the lamb was fatty and chewy. So all that wait for pakora and rice and sauce. We won't be back! Horrendous way to speak and treat customers!"

"I went to dinner with a friend to celebrate my new job. Unfortunately from start to end it was not a good experience. A waiter took our drinks order and part of our food order, my diet coke was flat and I asked him to change it which he did. I received a can instead which was warm and poured it into the glass of minimal ice and a thin slice of lemon, immediately the warm coke melted the ice and so the coke had no taste. I asked him what fish was in the Tandoori curry and he did not know, he stood there for a while then decided to go and ask, it was Tilapia. Then another waiter came over and asked to take our order, we told him that we had already given it to the other waiter, nevertheless we proceeded to repeat ourselves and he noted it on his I Pad. At this point we were confused and left wondering why the first waiter had not returned, it may be that he was new and confused himself, very strange. My friend ordered the prawn biriyani and okra curry, she said the biriyani was nice, but her okra skin was tough and inedible, she had to squeeze out the contents of it. My tilapia curry was very disappointing, there were very few pieces of fish in there and it was hot but very bland, my cauliflower curry had more taste than it. It was clear to me that their ingredients were far inferior than others I have visited, there was no authentic taste at all. Another negative was that one of the waiters welcomed 2 customers, and it seemed that one was celebrating a birthday, he may have known them from before because he spent plenty of time chatting to them but ignoring other customers, this is very unprofessional. I work in the hospitality industry and I would never spend a vast amount of my time speaking to just one table of customers. My advice to them would be to seek someone to train the staff professionally on their conduct and service, as it is all about the customer experience if they want them to return and write positive reviews. Also seek suppliers who can offer more quality products, prices to customers may have to increase but it will improve their reputation."
