"Service very poor. I’d booked a table about 5-7 days before for 3 of us when booking was asked if it was an occasion which it was my birthday. When we arrived they had my booking but hasn’t saved a nice table was offered one which was right by the toilet, managed to move after 15min when I saw a table empty. Took a long time to order food and by the time it was out turn they had already ran out of some of the salads and it wasn’t even 1pm. When the food finally arriveswd I had a ask the waiter to add more salad to one of my guest as it was ½ the quantity to the other one, which they weren’t very happy about me asking. I want be going back in a hurry which is sad as I’m in that area often"

"Went there for quick lunch and it was a little bit disappointed. Spend £3.50 on a coronation chicken sandwich and £1.10 on a can of juice. The baguette was dry like it was lying there for more than 2 days. The lady did not used a gloves and cut the ends of the baguette not sure why probobly cause it was too dry to eat. That really ruined my baguette. Took it on take away and I was all ready too far to talk to stay about it. A great name for a place and lovely staff however it would be nice to see gloves on staff hands when they are preparing the food and clean cutting boards."

"Poptata was just another fries shop I thought until today when I saw them freshly cut the fries from the potatoes with skin. I asked if they were made to order and the guy said yes but sadly they were not, I was served the fries which were left over from the previously order hence they were barely hot and not the freshly fried ones. I am so glad, I did not waste money on extras like cheese which would not have melted. The basic fries were not quite plain because they were tossed with Rosemary which was not something I was expecting and there was a fair bit of salt in it too. Overall, I felt that I did not experience their fries at their best which I believe would have been really nice."

"we held our high-time reception here and was not disappointed! we had the Sunday dinner (I had the bark meat, slowly cooked over night, my partner had pork and knisterte both were delicious! our party had a lot of food (from Sunday dinner to burgers to steaks were all very good! the personal was attentive and always sure that our glasses were full. I would recommend this venue for a special occasion, or even a beautiful weekend look! (I will go back for the 2 for Tuesday burger it is so nice that cleveleys finally have a place for decent eating and drinking the good work keep! x"

"An extremely poor and over priced roast lunch. My wife and I had roast pork and my son roasted beef. The pork was tasteless and the beef tough, even though it was presented 'pink '. Roast potatoes soft and the accompanying vegetables over cooked. The gravy jus watery and tasteless. We also requested some 'pigs in blankets ' these were prices at £1 per sausage(! they were 'stewed ' rather than roasted terrible flavour. We were refunded the cost of the 'pigs in blankets ' after we complained. An extremely poor experience and a total of lack of cooking skill(s . The roast pork lunch was priced at £19 and the roast beef at £22. Grossly over priced and poor value."

"I 've always liked Greens in Ballyhackamore. But the simple fact is that the food and the service have gone downhill while the prices have gone drastically uphill. £84 for 2 medium pizzas (which are actually small), 2 large pizzas (which are not particularly big) and two side salads. Oh, sorry- plus corkage on a couple of bottles. Service was slow despite the restaurant being virtually empty and elements of the order were missed. To be fair to Greens, it is just jumping on the boat that local hospitality in Northern Ireland is currently manning and that is the the good ship Rob The Customer Blind and blame it on everything over the last few years. Sorry Greens, but I won 't be back in a hurry."

"pleasantly surprised how amazing the food was! it was our first trip to the clubhouse yesterday after reading the great reviews, and I must say we had the best burgers in the city! the host is very humble and so a nice guy, we didn't know that we had to inform him in advance for iftar orders, so we only showed up 20 minutes before iftar, but he took our orders graciously and made delicious food for us and it was banging on time. this place will now be a regular favorite of us."

"This has been the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. I truly wish I could get a refund. It was extremely noisy, chaotic, and just overall terrible. The waitstaff seemed confused about which tables they were responsible for. The patrons were so loud that it visibly disrupted everyone else, and no one addressed the issue. The food was poorly seasoned and prepared, with minuscule portions. I strongly advise against dining here. It is a dreadful restaurant in a hotel."

"Good characterful restaurant, great food with generous portions. What makes this place though is the staff who are so friendly and welcoming. My only criticism, and it’s a small one, is that the place was a bit cold but given that we visited mid-winter and heating a place of this size must cost a fortune I can understand; perfectly forgivable as the rest of our visit was excellent. "I thought the food was excellent. I had the steak for main and tuna to start. Both dishes full of flavour and very enjoyable. Shared a nice bottle of Malbec and finished it off with a Baileys coffee. As good a meal as I have had in a while. I managed to taste the lobstar roll and escalopes which were also very good. Veronica (i believe one of the owners) managed to accommodate my sister who is pregnant and move us from the counter to a normal table. Excellent experience overall."
