"Unfortunately we did not see this restaurant at it's best. It was the day of a rugby final so it was packed. Knowing how busy the place would be we reserved a table and got seated on time. after a short wait we ordered and drinks and nibbles arrived quite quickly. Starters then came luke warm, and not particularly special. We then waited, and waited, and waited. An hour and three quarters after we arrived there was still no sign of a main course or any service we had tried to catch the eyes of the people working there several times. In the end we decided to leave. We reached the counter and asked to pay what we had received. This came to £40 for three drinks, nibbles and starters which we paid. In all fairness the manager was very apologetic. The waitress was very friendly as well. I could not fault either of these two. But clearly they must have been understaffed and this resulted in delays. We weren't the only group to complain about the time. So, in short, I can't really comment on how good this restaurant is usually. It has very good reviews which is why I made the reservation. But I would avoid on match days."

"What a pleasant surprise this beautiful restaurant turned out to be! When we arrived, I was unsure of what to expect, as the building next door looked quite run down. However, this lovely restaurant is just behind it and is absolutely stunning. We received a warm welcome, and everything looked so appealing. The buffet was amazing, with a fabulous selection and incredibly fresh food. I especially appreciated the unlimited naan and poppadoms included in the buffet, unlike other places where they charge extra for them. The gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and made us feel truly welcome. This little hidden gem is somewhere we will definitely visit again soon. Thank you!"

"Really disappointed to be writing this but we have been using Noor as our Indian restaurant for over 5 years. However with the recent changes to the food menus we are going to have to find somewhere else to order from as it must have new owner or chef which has ruined its proud, popular name. Some of the curries we normally order are no longer available and I tried a Bhuna which I’ve loved ordering for years yet it was a crying shame how different it was I did not enjoy this at all. Additionally the samosas I ordered was like something I’d expect from a food van, so upsetting! It’s been a great restaurant to us for years as we used it so regularly however it’s time to move on. I know many of my friends are doing the exact same. Can’t believe you’ve done this to us Noor, hope you’re happy with yourselves."

"Dined here with a group, and the food was good, but I have had better Indian food. This is a Southern Indian restaurant, and so many of the usual dishes you get in an Indian restaurant are missing from the menu. 'Dosa ' are the speciality here. "We went here as recommended by friends who are vegetarian. They are quite fussy about where they eat so we thought a recommendation from them was a good one. We were not mistaken. The food is completely different to most Indian restaurants and we liked everything we ate (although the fish on the seafood platter is very hot! My daughter hates spicy food and we asked the manager what he recommended. Not only did he recommend a dish for her, but he brought her a sample to taste, which we thought was excellent customer service. Most of the food is mild and delicious so my daughter was as happy as the rest of us. Cannot rate this place highly enough!"
