"We’d booked a table for 6 at Impasto, but was later contacted to say that they had accidentally booked our table at Olive Branch I understand they share the same kitchen with Impasto so we’d have Impasto food but served via the Olive Branch. Therefore this review won’t include any comment on the food served here. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We were seated in the cellar, at a table for 6 very close to the door, which was really distracting as people often rushed past in very close proximity to some of us. When taking our food orders, the server then forgot to ask one party member for their order. They didn’t apologise when we pointed this out. I didn’t get the sense that the server was wanting to be there at all, he interacted very minimally with us. It then took 70 minutes from being seated to receiving our food. We received no apology for the wait. They had also made a further mistake with somebody’s order, bringing two of the same sides when only one was requested server had written the side as “Z. product name “, which was misinterpreted by the kitchen staff as “2 produce name “ . We sent this back immediately. Nobody came to ask us how our food was. I could hear other tables around us also complaining about the long wait. It took a further 15mins after sitting with empty plates for them to be taken away. We requested the bill this took another 10mins and we had been overcharged by around £40 £16 of this was an optional 10% service charge, the rest was overcharging for the meal . They had put through all our pizzas as £17 when they should have been £12. They had included the mistake second side . We asked for the service charge to be removed, as the waiting time for food was unacceptable. Again the server did not apologise. It took 3 further bills to get the correct amount. The second bill had redacted the service charge and side, but we remained overcharged for the pizzas. We brought this upstairs to the manager, as by this stage we had been at the premises for 2hours for a 1 course meal and we were now running late for an evening event. The third bill from the manager then charged the correct amount for the pizzas, but added back on the service charge, making it a higher total than the second bill. We again requested the service charge was removed AGAIN, and finally were charged the correct amount. We were stood in the main entrance for a good 10 minutes sorting this out. I understand that The Olive Branch don’t have Impasto food items on their cash register, which complicated things with the bill. I’d say don’t offer the service if you are struggling to this extent."

"they can't blame this place. I went through for a 1 overnight stay, only to visit the place that shares my name, with two friends. we were warmly welcomed. we were accompanied to our room and the facilities shown. a table was reserved for us, on request, for dinner. we had the chance to sit back and watch the personal. the crew worked as a team and worked well together. this led to an exceptional, fast service. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner for breakfast the next morning. what a bright bubbly and friendly lady she is. it's really a pity that I don't spend time here anymore. When you have a beer in the evening and talk to the staff, you get the feeling that this crew consists of real, to the people of the earth. I had a great chat with them about the local and other stackpoles that might have passed through. a really big baptism of people who have met the kind of people I loved on the other side of the bar and a pint or two with shared. the facilities were exceptional. tidy, clean and modern. the shower was brilliant, immediately hot water and lots of space. the extraordinary room was with cherry to drink in their free time and some other small nibbles as well. the restaurant and the pub had all the characteristics they would expect from a pub of this age. it was only a joy to eat at such a place. the toilets, a common and common problem on many other sites, were immaculate. Given how busy this place was on this special evening, it is a certificate for the occupations professionalism and proud of its location. I would like to make it clear that this last piece of my review is not the case of leaving the best until last. the experience as a whole is something I will remember for the rest of my life. eating. for a start I chose the salmon with a root of beet.” that was devine. the salmon was fresh and tender, he melted in my mouth. for a pornstar I chose the rib auge, rarely cooked. as a grilled steak, I was rewarded with perfection. only the outer edge had this crispy, grilled taste, while the inner was a perfect pink, but not translucent. it was so incredibly tender. my friends also had steaks. I imagine someone on the outside, we are Australian with a good time, the sudden volume drop would have been noticed as we were repaired on exactly how well the meal we consumed. we have washed this with a bottle of Argentinian malbec, only someone who knows exactly how to connect a steak to a wein would serve such a wein on their menu. just heaven! some time later I managed to musculate the space to have dessert. a simple yet tasty (what we call in Australia) sticky date pudding. the three of us left stackpole inn this morning and have often spoken of our most positive experience. the only negatiw to come back, we have to travel 16500ks. please open them in Australia . Many thanks to the crew for an unforgettable experience."
