"This restaurant was once a popular destination with locations in Mumbai and London. They used to also have a location in New Delhi. Unfortunately, the restaurant has not kept up with the times. The decor is poor, with dirty carpets and food on the floor. There were only two waiters for the entire dinner service. The food was overly salty and the Naan was not prepared in a traditional tandoor oven. My family has visited the locations in New Delhi and Mumbai and were expecting a similar experience in London. Sadly, we will not be returning."

"the third time when eating in social dhaba, great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, personal was really friendly and polite. they've checked us a lot, but not intrusive. eating was delicious, but as always we had ordered some appetizers and they were all quite spicy, even for the chili lovers of our party. we drank a lot of boundless water. Please note that it is not ideal for younger children who cannot tolerate cold heat. but social dhaba I am back!"

"Not one to write a bad review (and I’ve been a Gail’s regular for 4 years) but this was my first time at this branch having moved to the area and the staff actually really just p*ssed me off. Ordered a breakfast tea, for which I wasn’t given a spoon so I went back to the counter to ask for one and he (long ish brown hair, quite tall) gave me a table spoon and huffed when I said actually i need a teaspoon for tea please. No apology obvs. Then when I sat down I realised they’d given me earl grey tea instead of breakfast tea. I politely told them and they tried to tell me that a breakfast tea is actually earl grey but they would swap it for me as a favour essentially. Sat back down and realised they’d given me earl grey AGAIN. I went back up to the counter and said I promise I’m not being difficult but that’s not breakfast tea. They literally laughed at me and basically gaslit me saying it’s breakfast tea and they couldn’t do anything else for me. I asked them to compare the smell of the tea leaves with an English breakfast tea bag, to which they laughed together and said some numpty has mixed up the tea leaves. Still no apology, just rudeness and finally got a mug with a tea bag in but no pot. I actually never want to return to this branch. Given me a good reason to use independent coffee shops more.."

"I dined in with three others on February 3, 2022, and had a wonderful experience. The venue was clean, and the ambiance and decor were impressive. "We arrived and they had noBooking for us! They moved two people who had just sat down to accommodate our party of 6! After a bad start we had the best attention from the management! The food was fabulous and the restaurant was quirky and buzzing! My 5 Danish friends who can’t really get curry at home were raving about the place and the food! "Lets see, went in and was quiet, music was playing and was served by the waiter who sat us down. Both waiter and manager were friendly, they gave us honest opinions on the food, and when they thought that something would not suit our pallet they told us. Food was prompt and service flowed as it should. It is a shame that there were only 3 other tables of 3 and 5 there. An atmosphere would have created a perfect evening. Saying that I can not fault Food, Drink, Service or Hygiene. The fact that they have a window showing into the kitchen just builds my confidence that the hygiene standard it throughout the restaurant and not just the front. We will definitely be returning as I now have one of their loyalty cards and will get both offers and points. Perhaps we will bring a few more people with us. On a final note, the manager was talking to us about a Rajesh Khana Tribute night, would love to go there for that one. Seems to be a ongoing monthly events. Cant wait for them to start."

"I cannot recommend a restaurant that serves only 2 pieces of chicken for £13 as a main dish. Furthermore, there was an issue with a family allowing their child to watch children's TV at their table using a tablet. Personally, I do not enjoy dining out and listening to cartoon shows. It was disappointing that the waitstaff were unable to handle this situation effectively. Although the food was excellent and our waiter was courteous and efficient in addressing our complaints, the overall experience left us feeling unimpressed."

"I found the food to lack authenticity. The briyani was overly moist and the rice used was short-grained as opposed to the long grain which I am more accustomed to in a briyani. The bindhi dupiaza was unique. It was simply fried with garlic and onions and tasted more like a stir-fry dish. The curries also were too mind and lacked flavour. The naan, the tandoori dishes and the paddadam were ok though. The restaurant was very clean and the prices were reasonably."

"Wonderful meal at The Tigers Pad. This is a favourite local restaurant of mine and my family and I suggested it as a venue for a Christmas get-together to a group of friends some of whom hadn't eaten here before. "The food at this restaurant was delicious, with the perfect amount of spice. The menu was a bit limited, mostly featuring rice and lamb dishes with few other meat options. "We booked this restaurant last minute and made our reservation the last one on a Saturday evening which was 10:30pm. Due to the concert at nearby Sage running late, we were late as a result! The restaurant called me just to check we were still attending and we confirmed that we were and arrived 10 minutes late. That was absolutely no problem to the team. They made us feel so welcome and I un rushed as I’m sure they, like anyone else, wanted to get tidied away and home! The whole team were so friendly, they chatted with us and really made us feel like a valued customer. This meant a lot. Next is the food! It was absolutely amazing, we all had a fantastic meal, the sauces were superb. I have to say that this was probably one of the best Indian meals I have ever had! Would thoroughly recommend!"
