"Passing by noticed that they were offering unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy with the roast dinners and seeing as I was hungry I thought I’d pop in for a roast and a pint. Service was swift and the girl behind the bar was very friendly. Ordered a turkey roast and I was not disappointed. Had a few of the unlimited Yorkies and potatoes after as per the sign on the window and there was no moaning/grumbling like some places tend to do. Would recommend and will have again when in the area."

"I ordered the char-grilled lamb at the restaurant and found it to be extremely salty. The excessive saltiness could be harmful to one's health, so they should consider reducing the amount of salt used in their dishes. Additionally, the price was quite high, almost comparable to that of a paesano. It seems like the restaurant may be targeting drunk customers leaving the pub who may not pay much attention to the prices. However, as someone who had just completed a long and healthy cycle, I found the dish to be disappointing."

"Back in my 'day ' (the late 80 's, 90 's and early 2k), Blackwood Rd had the usual town/village shops. Walks to school including a stop at Taylors News for sweets, chippy tea, hair cut, pharmaceutical support... Roll on 30 years later, and something that could have come a lot lot sooner (when I was walking the streets, on my way home after a night out at the local public houses when turning '18 ' in the late 90 's) there is a restaurant. An indian restaurant. Visiting parents, as now live in Lincolnshire, and they took me here... Service; fantastic, very personal, great conversation. Location; 'hidden ' away, and parking could be an issue if early doors. Drinks; unlicensed, so BYOB. Wine for me. Food; when 'testing ' an Indian restaurant I will always go with the chefs/restaurants 'own ' Jalfrazi. If its good, I know the rest of the menu will be good. Lots of experience here . No complaints from parents, nor myself. Price; absolutely spot on for portion size. Lamb Tikka Sylheti Jalfrazi. Not over powered with chilli, just a nice warmth on the back of the tongue, perfection. As well as the starters, all was beautiful. Highly recommended, and parents say take out/delivery is spot on too. Those that know me, you know I like my curry. If i say its good, its very good. "I recently ordered takeout from Palace Spice. Despite not being a confrontational person, the experience left me feeling extremely frustrated. I ordered my usual Indian dishes - chicken biryani, chicken jalfrezi, rice, and naan bread. The estimated delivery time was between 40 minutes to an hour, but it ended up being an hour and 20 minutes. When I called to inquire about my order, they offered a 10% discount on my next order as an apology. After waiting a bit longer, I called again angrily demanding an update. When the food finally arrived after more waiting, I was livid and refused to accept the late delivery. The driver called me to say they were on their way, but I was already done with Palace Spice. Needless to say, this experience ruined my Saturday night. Avoid ordering from this restaurant at all costs."

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was promised a 10% discount on my takeaway order, but when I returned to pick up my food, I was charged the full price. The staff claimed that the menu already included the 10% discount, which is not true. When I asked for the discount, they only reduced the price of the main course by £1, but not the starter, vegetable dish, or naan bread. They refused to honor the discount, so I was overcharged by £2.70. I will not be returning to this restaurant and felt compelled to leave this review to warn others."
