"Monday evening wedding anniversary celebration meal which did not disappoint. The staff are attentive and friendly, very efficient no waiting around for service at all. The food menu is very good choice and value. The food was well presented and flavoursome did not disappoint expectation. The only tiny critique is the dining chairs could be a little comfier but the overall environment is lovely. The surprise complementary anniversary desserts were very much appreciated. The Hotel is in a very scenic part of the world but be prepared for the fog in winter."

"This was booked as a contract to help a friend who had a medical diagnosis that was not expected. The Crowne Plazza Hotel Reading, restaurant staff first said we have no booking and tried to show us back to the exit. We asked him to check again, he refused and said we had made a mistake and went away. We talked to the reception that had no question finding our booking that was made only today. Re confirmation of participation was made today after receiving email, asked me to do this. Booking made 3-4 days ago reception offered a free drink while something was rusted!. 30 minutes later sat on a table in a thorough farewell outside the main restaurant area. Eating was bad, served with tea in huge builder cups. No one checked the quality of food. On demand to pay bill and name of the hotel manager, restaurant-manger appeared and said he would take 20% off the bill. The fee of £25 pp, but for x 2 was calculated £40 was not a good value for money. The attitude of the restaurant staff was very unprofessional and welcoming. The restaurant and the foyer area were not busy at the time of this visit. Finally, the name and email address of the hotel manager had. Restaurant Manager is unhappy about giving me this information as I have already given you a discount Madam President! Unfortunately a very bad experience from beginning to end."

"Everything was very average. Bar was busy but we were met with are u a function? The red wine was poured very sloppily and spilt at base of the glass. Not noticed by the staff and when a serviette was requested to clean up it was handed to me Roger in with. None of the waiters/waitresses were particularly knowledgeable about the food. When the main course arrived it was presented by the waitress as 'who 's having fish '. We asked for a jug of water but glasses were poured no jug left and when one of us asked for a refill only one person in the table topped up before the waitress left totally ignoring 3 requests. When she did return to the table after managing Roger her attention her face said she wasn 't happy. We asked for a 10 minute break after the main course before having desert but then got asked a further 3 times in about as many minutes. It feels like the restaurant hangs in the name. Nothing special."

"Our favourite brunch spot/ cafe in Bromsgrove. *update Jan 2021- great takeaway food. We had a chicken burrito and vegan burrito. The sizes are great, packed full of tasty flavours and loads of filling. We ordered online the day before. The cafe feels very safe and covid compliant. Thanks team! Excellent coffee, delicious flavours, relaxed atmosphere and great decor. The staff are friendly, and the place feels safe and hygienic. Our favourite dishes are the bagels, burrito, hummus loaded toast, halloumi fries, and Greek evening; all excellent portion sizes and very tasty. Some dishes are quite expensive for what you get (especially the cakes). The brownies are pricey but delicious. I previously thought, and fed back, that the menu would benefit from more salads and healthier options, but I’ve seen this improve in the last couple of months"
