"Went for a family dinner at Rosa’s Thai restaurant London and sad to say what a disappointment it was For starters the waiter made a complete mess of explaining the set meal which was advertised outside the place and were even given menus for the set meal We placed our order for drinks and when we were about to order we were told that we could not as one of our parties was not having a set meal (there were 6 of us So we then ordered from the main menu The drinks that we ordered took forever to come despite reminding staff about them a number of times The starter arrived but we had no plates/cutlery/serviettes and again had to ask the staff member The drinks finally arrived after the starters Just to say that bar (looks like make shift which is located next to the kitchen downstairs was very dirty and so was the gents toilet which were also located downstairs The positive point from The visit was the food was good but the overall service was very very poor to say the least To top this we were overcharged on the bill and has to inform the waiter on this issue I would be coming here in a hurry To the management suggest you re train some of your staff on customer services"

"I would rather eat a can of pedigree chum than the **** this place tries to get away with serving. We ordered Singapore chicken and prawn noodles £13.50 each. After the plates had sat in the dumb waiter for more than 5 mins (we were sat by it) I went to the bar to get a dumb member of staff who were more concerned with yapping amongst themselves than actually doing their job. The warning signs were there. The place was pretty much empty in contrast to everywhere else. They brought us the food it had clearly been microwaved or reheated, having been batch cooked. About 2 prawns on each plate and the tiniest bits of chicken, one member of our group doesn 't like and can not eat peppers so we asked for one without peppers but it was evident all they had done was take the peppers out of the food as it was all clearly out of the same tub. Didn 't eat it. Didn 't pay for it, and the staff didn 't give a s@#t !! If you value your health and work hard for your money, then avoid the place like the plague."

"Absolutley beautiful food! Friendly staff but not the iver powering kind and cosy pub atmosphere. We went for the first time about a month ago and been back 3 times since, its that good. Tonight we had the feather blade of beef with mash dumpling and honey carrots, and the lasagne with garlic bread and salad both were fantastic. They also have an italian night on a monday 3 courses for less than a tenner, and there not shabby portions either. Deffo recomend."

"On the eve of our wedding we realised that we would have nearly thirty family and friends in local hotels and decided it would be fun to invite them all out for an informal meal the night before the « big day » to get the party rolling and give a chance for guests to meet and mingle before the actual wedding day. We did not want the event to over shadow the main event the following day and wanted to food to be a distinct contrast. As regular visitors to Thailand (and enjoying frequent lunches) at Charm we came up with the idea if they could host us. They immediately offered the whole restaurant to us and gave us some brilliant menu ideas that had lots of dishes for sharing. The planning was simple, the manager charming and everything easily organised. The evening of the event itself was great fun, it was very relaxed with lots of laughter and smiles and made for a memorable start to our wedding celebrations. The food and drink were delicious and even the « I can’t eat anything spicy » brigade enjoyed it. The service included the famous Thai smiles and the large and varied group were very well catered for. Thank you so much for this, I can’t wait to be back for a pad Thai lunch soon."

"The Siam Smile restaurant is located near the Antrobus Hotel, with a parking lot available for guests. The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the hotel gardens and has a lovely, airy atmosphere. They serve a buffet on Mondays and Wednesdays, but also offer a la carte options. Live music is featured on the first Monday or Wednesday of each month, but it's best to check with the hotel for specific details. I opted for the buffet while my wife chose a la carte. The mixed starters were all delicious, but the chicken satay with its thick sauce was a standout for me. I received extra portions at no additional cost. For my main course, I had a red chicken curry which had just the right amount of heat and was served with fragrant jasmine rice. The service was excellent and accommodating, even when we changed our minds multiple times. We look forward to returning soon."

"Totally satisfied and highly recommending it. We arrived at 19:30 on a Friday night and was taken to the first floor as the ground floor is full. The atmosphere is great nice Thai style wooden chains, patterned placemats and painting on the wall, and most importantly relaxing music. I felt like I am in a nice Thai SPA room. The food is very nice and served with delicate dishes, bags and candle base. We had sticky rice and green curry with pork, which is spicy but definitely delicious yummy when mixed together. The starter combo including chicken satay, spring roll, prawn toast and stick fried prawn is hot and tasty, which are well suited on mixed vegetables that have been flavored with sweet sauce. We also had a Thai fried noodle with prawn which was so welcomed by kids. The iced milk tea is also great. Overall this is one of the best Thai cuisine we had in the UK and all the staff are very professional and kind. Highly recommend!"

"The Garlic Salt Squid was one of the worst squid dishes I've ever eaten. Tiny circles of squid so dry that it was like trying to eat rubber bands only less elastic. I'm used to eating chillies but one piece caused me significant distress. For nearly 10 minutes, I could hardly talk. A terrible dish but I didn't want to complain at the time because I didn't want to put a downer on the evening for my wife and friends. Very poor value for money. "It appears that this restaurant has new management as there were no Thai staff present, only South Asian employees. The waiters were not very knowledgeable about the food and seemed impatient. The atmosphere was affected by the poor service from the waiters. The food was average, but overly salty and the rice was not cooked well. The portion sizes were generous and the lunch special was reasonably priced. It was off-putting that the tip was added to the bill automatically. I will likely not return as the restaurant was better when it had Thai staff in traditional clothing warmly greeting guests in Thai. If you are in the area and hungry, this restaurant could suffice, but there are better Thai restaurants available."

"The Zen has always been one of our favourite restaurants we have been going for a few years. We have recommended this restraunt to lots of friends and family absolutely loved it. We went 3 weeks ago and wow what a disappointment, we always have the banquet we compared the pictures tp our last visit, the soup was half full and watery, the starter platter the chicken has shrunk, the mains the prawns are not as big as they used to be and the rice used to come with nuts raisins etc and this time it came plain in a small bowl. We left still hungry. I understand everything has risen in price but maybe put your price up rather than reduce the quality. I asked the waitress and she said we should of told them what rice we wanted...why would we when it's always been the same. Honestly we was not impressed and will not be returning, very disappointed. "I visited this restaurant in November 2021 and had a fantastic experience. I raved about it to others and decided to go back on 26th February 2022 with my son and partner. However, our experience this time was disappointing. The service was slow, and we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes just to receive our main course. When we arrived, there were only a few people in the restaurant, but they were already eating. The quality of the food was not as good as it was in November. It seemed like they were more focused on fulfilling delivery orders, with a constant stream of takeout customers coming in and out. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant. They may need to consider expanding their premises and creating a separate area for takeaways in order to better serve their dine-in customers."

"We have been coming here for years but our recent experience was terrible. Service was appalling, they were not busy in the restaurant but very busy with take aways. We arrived at 7pm and left at 8.35 having only had a starter platter in that time. We waited almost an hour for our main course to arrive and then gave up and left. They still presented the full bill to us despite our dissatisfaction and when we complained they took only £5 off it. Wine took ages to arrive as did starters, as did water. They also took 15 mins to tell us they were now out of house white wine. Didn’t offer an alternative for the same price. The management here is clearly an issue, they also need to decide in the kitchen where their priorities lie. Diners or take away! We will not be going back anytime soon as we left hungry and went to another restaurant nearby. I hope you take this review seriously and take actions to ensure no one else has to sit though a similar experience"

"A rather long wait one is forewarned on the menu , but eventually, very good food arrived. The owner ? not very engaging. Living in Bali I thought he might have something to say about Thailand, but he did not seem keen to engage in a conversation, however short. Oh well, end of season exhaustion?..but the son ? more concerned and apologised for the long wait.... the Thai ? lady in the kitchen gave me a big, genuine, smile when I stuck my head round the kitchen door on the way out and thanked her for the spicy food, just-as-we-like-it, and she reminded me of service back home in Bali .
