"This was my first time visiting this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. A friend recommended it to me and I had an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide selection on the menu to choose from. The drinks list was impressive, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The restaurant manager was very pleasant, and as we were celebrating my friend's belated birthday, he surprised us with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a cake with a sparkler - a really nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and absolutely loved it."

"When you're craving authentic Indian food with the true taste and flavor of India, look no further than Taka Tak in Oldbury. The dishes are freshly cooked, not reheated from frozen or leftovers, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with popular Indian songs playing, plenty of free on-site parking, and excellent customer service. The only downsides are the waiting time for food and portion sizes, which could be improved. Despite this, I would still give Taka Tak a 5-star rating and highly recommend it."

"In the last year it has been opened we have been to Msala library probably four or five times, during summer or winter, eat in, take away or in the terrace it has never disappointed. What I love about it is how fresh the food feels in your mouth and how ungreasy it is. Besides the undoubted quality of the food, I really appreciate how humble and friendly the hosts and personnel are. I'm really so glad Msala is round the corner from us!"

"We ordered the Beetroot Carpaccio with feta, spinach, and walnuts, and requested it as a main course, which was accommodated without any issues. However, we were disappointed with the dish when it arrived at our table. It was lacking in flavor and had grated carrot, which was not listed on the menu. The feta and walnuts were barely noticeable, and the dish seemed to be mostly comprised of spinach, beetroot, and carrot - possibly cheaper ingredients. We were expecting chunks of feta and walnuts to add some more depth to the dish, but unfortunately, it fell flat and was underwhelming. My own dish was good, but it was missing sautéed potatoes. Overall, the experience was dampened by the disappointing dish. Additionally, we were charged for a small bottle of water, while other diners received a complimentary jug. It was our first time at the restaurant, so maybe we were just unlucky that night. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic, and the restaurant had a beautiful layout."

"We booked a table, surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. There were lots of delivery drivers collecting, easy to understand why. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Not hot either. Bring your own alcohol if you want a drink, soft drinks only served, well advertised. They don’t charge corkage either. We started with a poppodom each, they were freshly cooked (not the usual pre made reheated rubbish), they were like fluffy but crunchy clouds, they just melted in the mouth, not hard and not oily. I could easily eat half a dozen of these with mango chutney and raita for a meal. The mango chutney and raita are made freshly in the restaurant, unfortunately the manager wouldn’t share the recipes, darn lol. Considering everything is made fresh to order the service is very quick. I hadn’t even finished my poppodom before the chicken tikka starter arrived. Hubby and I shared a chicken tikka starter, we have both been eating Indian food for over 40 years, and said we both thought it was the best chicken tikka we had ever tasted. It was succulent, and delicious. It could only have been improved by the raw sliced onions accompanying it having been lightly fried. Served with a piece of hot lemon too, perfect. The King Prawn Karahi was excellent, awesome taste, the Chilli Chicken was suitably hot and had a delicious flavour as well. We were so busy eating and waxing lyrical about our dinner we hardly had time to talk to each other lol. We ordered Keema Rice, I was disappointed because it had peppers and tomatoes in it (that’s a first for us). As I had asked for my dish to have no peppers or tomatoes we mentioned it to the manager, he apologised, said it was an error and removed the rice from our bill. The manager was very nice, did a check back as well. The portions are a good size, so value for money. If we lived nearer we would probably have a weekly delivery from here, if not more often. It’s rare to get perfectly cooked food with such good flavour, and great service as well. Definitely looking forward to next time we eat here. I can highly recommend eating here. Can’t remember the last time I thought that, or found a restaurant this good. Thank you to the manager and chef for making our little break perfect."

"We had been told this was a good restaurant, it is in a good location, nice decor and plenty of tables available on a Saturday night surprisingly. We had a very nice lamb and cashew starter, but the chutneys were very bland and we were charged for them which is new to me. All the other dishes were very average, lamb rogan josh more tomato than lamb and a sweet bland sauce, no salad with the tandoori which was very dry. It is a shame as the staff were lovely and service very good. Hope this was just an off day, but for now our hunt for the best Indian restaurant south of the river carries on!"

"Worst take away.. Easily the worst food i've ever tasted. When it arrived after booking it through the website) it was were midly warm with the meat inside utterly cold. I know it not just down to the delivery taking ages as the chicken was pink in places The Green chilli pakora which I was looking forward to most came, cold, soggy and not hot hot hot' in the slightest as advertised I heated some of the other dishes up at home but quality wise it was just poor. "I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"The food at this restaurant was really delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The appetizers were especially good. My friends ordered the Thali and were very pleased with their choice, especially since it came with dessert. I opted for two small curries with rice and Naan, and I was extremely satisfied with everything. The Naan was freshly baked and helped me scoop up every last bit from my plate. "First night in London, and we were looking for a basic bite and a basic drink. Something local , you know. Turns out we found a spot That 's not basic at all. We checked in to our hotel a bit late in the evening, and asked the guy working the front where was good for a bite and a drink. He said most places were closed or closing soon. I mentioned that I saw Salt on yelp nearby with food. It 's close but it has, sorta different food. And it has, night people, if you know what I mean , is what he responded with. Well that was intriguing so we had to go. We arrived and realized what he meant. The place was packed with Middle Eastern people, most outside enjoying the night air and smoking from Hookah pipes. it was a popping place, but definitely not a British crowd of guys pouring back pints. we sat inside and we were hungry. I got a lamp curry wrap and my gal got a wrap too. OK not the most original thing on the menu but we got the potato cakes too. Everything was great. The wraps were really, really good and hit the spot. The had some good wines and scotches as well, which really added to the night. The quirky ambiance was a welcome surprise. it was so foreign to us, but was designed to be entertaining. I don 't know when we will be back to London, but we really do hope t make it back to surprisingly great spot."
