"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and the staff are very attentive. However, the decor is lacking in coziness and inspiration. The atmosphere feels a bit sterile, like a dull dentist's waiting room. During my visit in the middle of winter, I felt a constant draft from either the air conditioning or the door. "Had been looking forward to trying this place as had heard great reviews but unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered chilli garlic Prawns which did not contain peppers as described and the sauce tasted like chilli ketchup. Squid starter was the most disappointing, the batter was coming off the squid resulting in a congealed sauce which was thick anyway.. Shame about texture as sauce was flavoursome. . The butter chicken was lovely but quite spicy which is surprising as this dish is usually mild, unfortunately no indication of spice level on website otherwise would have asked for spice to be reduced. Placed order over the phone but now wished I placed it on website as they didn't apply correct meal deal, when asked I was advised the butter chicken was not classic curry and therefore not included in deal. Only checked when I returned home and this was one of the dish choices on website for the meal deals. This resulted in over charging me which is bit dishonest."

"Lovely pub with amazing staff! Laura, in particular, was really helpful helping us find a table and recommending food for us. We shared a selection of the small plates they were great, and perfect sharer options for friends out for drinks and nibbles. The food was a little slow coming out, and some bits were a little cold, but we put that down to ordering quite a few different dishes, and it didn’t spoil the experience overall. We did witness an uncomfortable incident where a very unhappy customer was complaining in quite an aggressive and intimidating way, but Laura kept her calm and handled it amazingly well. It was hard to watch, so must’ve been awful to be on the receiving end of that kind of complaint management should be proud of their staff!!"

"My friend, who is a consultant doctor, and I decided to visit this restaurant based on the outstanding reviews we had read in the past two weeks. However, our experience was quite different from what we had expected. The car park was free and spacious, but the toilets were not well-maintained and the waiter was not very helpful in guiding us to them. The dining area was lovely, but the music was too loud. The service was unprofessional and lacked precision, with a few errors in our order. The food was okay, with some dishes being overcooked and the portion sizes varying. Overall, for the price we paid, the poor service and mixed food quality, I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant."

"Booking for 8 at Red Chilli and we had a pleasent meal. Service was efficent and the wide menu choice meant we were able to choose some unusual dishes. Personally I found all the food good but nothing exciting to make it stand out for the price which seemed more City priced than the location but this was more due to the cost of beers and the usual over ordering of veg than the menu costs. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area."

"I arranged a meeting and decided to go to a competitor's Indian restaurant, but it was a bit challenging and some of the staff were not very friendly. A friend recommended this place to me, and I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The menu offered a good selection of dishes for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The portions were quite generous, and in hindsight, I probably should have ordered a smaller mixed grill, but it was Christmas after all. The Indian mixed grill we ordered was excellent and arrived at our table sizzling hot, creating quite a bit of smoke. The portion size was large, with enough food to comfortably feed 4 people with the included naans. The value for money was fantastic. I also tried the lamb saag, which was tender and flavorful. The sauces and dips were served in a nice presentation, rather than being in large squeeze bottles like some other places. They provided paper napkins, not cheap kitchen roll, and offered a take-home option for leftovers. The staff was very friendly, and I look forward to visiting again in the future."

"I attended Bollywood Junction last night or dinner for the first with some friends. The restaurant is quaint, and nicely decorated without going over the top. It was a lovely experience, and the ambiance was very welcoming and charming.The service throughout the evening was prompt and polite from the staff without being to overbearing. The menu provided was extensive with a variety of cuisines from the Chaat Counter to Indo Chinese and finally traditional Indian, at a very reasonable price. If you are a vegetarian, the vegetarian options on the menu are very impressive also. The Corriander Paneer we ordered as a starter, was the star of the show in my humble opinion, which was very moreish. We also ordered the small Mixed Grill and the Paani Poori which were also very delicious. I ordered the Lamb Bhuna for my main meal which was very flavoursome and the lamb was tender and cooked perfectly. All the food we ordered throughout the evening was excellent and tasty and the flavours were delicious and very well balanced. However beware the portion sizes are very generous so you may have to starve yourself for a few days before attending. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Milton Keynes, you won't be disappointed!!"

"A real gem above Bearwood high street. This wasn't our first visit and certainly won't be our last. Always good friendly and quick service. On this occasion there was a pretty large group at one end and as we were being sat down we were asked if we minded the noise or wanted to sit away from them. We opted for near them as there is nothing wrong with people having fun, just was nice the waiter had considered us. Food as expected absolutely delicious and very generous portions. We order two starters, a rice, nann bread and one curry dish between two and it is more than enough. Price is very reasonable too. Looking forward to our next date night."
