Couldnt even tell the difference between the lemon rice and the garlic rice so the chef needs replacing. Needless to say will never order from this shambolic establishment ever again. Buyers beware"

"This is by far the best Indian in the area...yeah it's a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I'm not a loyal customer I'll try most places, but this really has always been the tastiest Indian consistently. We usually order take out but dining in is a must also. The food can be a little on the spicy side which I like but you can always have the spice tailored to your liking. Not once have I had a below 4 star experience here in 5 years!"

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."

"This local Indian takeaway restaurant was a disappointing experience for my husband's birthday dinner. Despite pre-ordering our meal, it arrived 20 minutes early and without our main dish and side. When I contacted the restaurant, they offered to deliver the missing items in 30 minutes, but I declined as the rest of the food would have gone cold. The food that was delivered was only lukewarm, and when I asked for a refund, they refused. Overall, it was a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience, and I will not be ordering from them again."

"This is the best Indian food we have had anywhere outside my mother inn laws kitchen. Authentic flavors, meat is tender, the mixed grill was to die for. Fish curry incredible and the biryani totally floated my boat, Service was prompt, and friendly, yes seating is a little tight and portions a little on the small side, but for this area it is still amazing value, you will not find a better Indian. I am eating the leftovers cold for breakfast : What a treat !"

"We went to Zeera on a quiet Sunday afternoon for my Birthday, as soon as we walked through the door the service was very friendly, helpful and outstanding throughout our meal. You could tell the food was fresh, extremely delicious and a great range to choose from. The only minor drawback I could find was the fact of no outdoor seating, as we visited in July this would have been great. However, the waiter that served us ensured the air con was on so it didn't get too uncomfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend Zeera to anybody for a love of Indian food, you will not be disappointment!"

"This Cambridge restaurant is one of the top curry spots in town. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere and decor are delightful and tidy. What really stands out, though, is the food - it's incredibly fresh. Be sure to try the peshwari naan, which smells heavenly and tastes amazing. Every item on the menu is wonderful, especially the chef's signature dishes. While delivery is an option, it's worth visiting in person to fully enjoy the Meghna experience."

"I am pleased to have discovered a traditional, unassuming Indian restaurant in London like Ruhits. It reminds me of the ones I used to visit growing up in Kenton, Harrow. I prefer this over fancy Indian cuisine. The balti butter chicken at Ruhits is delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. "Worst Indian meal we have ever had. Only thing that was ok was the poppadums. The rest was tasteless and the chicken meat quite chewy. The garlic naan was tasteless and we had to ask times before the staff offered to replace it. When...we got the replacement it came covered in small chunks of garlic. The service was also quite poor with less than enthusiastic staff. The waiter did get the manager and he tried to explain they cook their food differently to how it’s cooked in the part of Scotland we come from?? He then also offered to get us a drink each but this was once we’d paid and were ready to leave. Would much rather have had something knocked off the bill for providing us with an underwhelming meal. It is ashame as the location is nice but the food and service was not."

I think this is a mother-daughter team and that we had for my mother when I felt it was something special. "I recently enjoyed a wonderful set meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka and seekh kebab starters, along with the salad, onion salad, and minted yogurt, were all delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the naan bread was soft and excellent. However, two of the main courses were somewhat disappointing as they were too sweet. The chicken tikka masala and mattar paneer seemed overly sweet, almost like a dessert. It's a shame because the underlying flavors were good. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for this issue. We had booked online and received a text message notifying us that delivery would be delayed by 40 minutes. Initially, we considered canceling our order. However, after making a phone call, our meal was delivered in just 30 minutes. It's definitely worth calling to place your order!"
