Where to start, the food was exceptional, the restaurant homely yet stylish, and the staff were polite, attentively, and extremely friendly. We dined here for my Mother 's 60th, and Caravelli did not disappoint; they even brought out cake and candles, and sang to her (with a guitar). Every member of our group raved about the quality of their meal afterwards, and the silence when the food arrived said it all. The prices were medium to high, but fair for the high quality. Wait times were low; drinks were cheap. I strongly recommend, and will come again. Dietary restrictions: Very good if you are gluten free. Complete transparency and plenty of options. My wife dined as if she had no allergies, which is extremely rare! I tried her dish, and you wouldn 't know it was GF. Parking: There 's no car park; don 't be deceived by the carpark behind on maps. You can get street parking outside (Sparrow Hill) or 5 minutes walk away on Meadow Lane; be warned, both are Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm, 1hr only . We dined on a Saturday evening and it wasn 't an issue. Kid-friendliness: Extremely friendly. My son was treated kindly and given some free bits. Had a perfectly balanced professional-family vibe."
