"Stayed here two nights and it was a good two nights. The room was large as well as the bathroom. The shower had a rain shower head and it was exceptionally good with plenty of water pressure. A large bed along with a day bed provided plenty of space. The meals were very good. We ate both breakfast meals here and nothing was scrimped. They were properly prepared and very tasty. The one dinner was excellent. My wife had the beef meal and was quite satisfied with the quality of her meal. I had the pork dinner and it was perfect. There was a large wine list and several wines are sold by the glass which is good since two of us do want a bottle. This is a good place to stay and it’s at the edge of the business area which allows for a more quiet night"

"We had breakfast on Saturday, we have been before and really enjoyed it however this time the food wasn’t as great as it normally is, I think they had booked too many people in, the pancakes were burnt, we ordered 2 English done omelettes however one turned up french and the other English so it had to be sent back and the mushrooms tasted really odd so they also had to be left, such a shame as it’s normally lovely, I think they just had too many tables in."

"A friend recommended their Thai food night on Wednesdays, and wow, what a delight! It’s a friendly, cozy village pub, and the food was outstanding. Some of our group preferred mildly spiced dishes, while others wanted something a bit hotter, and we were not disappointed— the flavors were incredible. The recommended wine was a bold French choice that perfectly complemented the meal. The landlords were very welcoming, greeting us with a literal warm atmosphere around the blazing log fire in the bar area. I highly recommend it... enjoy!"
