"This is my 'go-to ' cafe/coffee shop in Marlborough. I 'm even prepared to queue in the rain for a table, it 's that good! The coffee is superb, the cakes divine and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. It’s nearly always busy so, at times, service can take a little longer. The staff are great and do their best to keep up with demand. If you’re in Marlborough and want somewhere great to have breakfast, brunch (dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings) or coffee and cake, this is the place."

"First, let me say that Rick Stein is my all time favourite TV chef, so when I was in Marlborough, and saw there was one of his restaurants there, I cancelled my previous booking elsewhere and booked here. I could go on and on about why I was so disappointed, but ultimately, the food here was just ok. We had a halloumi appetizer very nice and well balanced, followed by mackerel, scallops and watermelon salad as 3 starters. Mackerel was nicely cooked but the whole dish was bland, the scallops were completely tasteless I mean completely like nothing, and the watermelon salad was not exactly fresh withered rocket and watery over ripe watermelon pieces. The fish curry main was very nice, but all in all, when you consider the portions are all smaller and the price is highly inflated (as you would expect), you expect the quality to be much higher. I was entirely disappointed, and would recommend 3 or 4 other restaurants in Marlborough instead. If I didn't love Rick's tv shows so much and enjoy his books, I would have marked it lower."

"family-run Italian restaurant with a tidy house cooked food. I had big king prawns in an orange and chili sauce, followed by heavy fish in a tomato, olive and caper sauce on green beans and covered with very sharp thin frits. I also stole a few very creamy and alcoholic tiramisu from an evening meal. also had the table were baked mushrooms, play ravioli, a tasty looking huh wrapped in ham, plus a few other dishes that I can not remember. all declared excellent and washed with good Italian wine."

"We visited this cafe for breakfast because it was open, as opposed to a nearby competitor which wasn't. It was fairly busy but we did get a table. I went with scrambled eggs while my wife went with a croissant. The scrambled eggs, when they arrived, was just a pile of eggs on two stacked pieces of toast. Nothing fancy but they were perfect. The toast was toasted and the eggs on the slightly underdone side which is how they should be. The only negative was my wife's croissant which looked as though it had been cooked just a tad too long when it was made. Very crunchy but she said it was ok. It was warmed, which was good. Worth a visit."

"The Zaika Inn in Marlborough offers the best bang for your buck and serves up the most delicious Indian cuisine in town. Since reopening after the floods, I have been multiple times and have been impressed by the team's resilience. The renovations are top-notch, and the food remains consistently delicious. If dining in, I highly recommend trying the sizzling tandoori dishes, which are both impressive and fragrant enough to make other diners jealous. The restaurant also has a great takeaway menu. The atmosphere is lively on weekends and more laid-back during the week, catering to any preference. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and we always feel warmly welcomed."
