"The restaurant had no atmosphere whatsoever, it was cold, the lighting was inadequate for dining, there was no background music, which might have helped, we were the only people in the place and it was like a mausoleum. The food wasn't good quality, certainly not for the price charged. We booked as we didn't know the area, but went out into the town afterwards to meet up with a business colleague and realised there's a good range of really good restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We actually decided to eat out for breakfast as we couldn't face the dining room again, and had a great breakfast at a lovely little Scandi-style cafe in the town."
